The Richmond Studios - شاطئ ميامي

The worst experience I ever had in terms of hosting. I absolutely  agree with EVERYTHING  "said in his comment. The rooms are poorly maintained, noisy, old. There is no reception, the front door is open permanently. We complained about the conditions of our room that looked like the employees' room and still had to hear jokes about us, brazilians, coming from a country of poor security and still complaining about their hotel security conditions. The staff was terrible and awkward: took all out complaints for granted and reacted in a way to make us believe that we were doing that to be able to take advantages of the hotel. In this way, the manager of the  hotel offered us two "drinks" to alleviate the inconveniences (?!?). If you want to stay in Miami Beach, you will surely have many other choices in the area to stay. The fact that this hotel is "low fare" does not justify the rubbish hosting offered to the guests.

The location was great and the room was perfect for me and my friends. It's Miami and a adult's playground, take the kids to Orlando. It is definitely one of my favs on my list. The Studio Room was the best because I come to Miami to relax and get away from the daily grind. AWESOME place and will see them soon. :) -P.S.Wifi was not the best but who is online when in Miami.

I really enjoyed staying in this cute little apartment for the night. Although it doesn't seem too impressive from the street, I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the studio. It had a certain Art Deco charm, and was quite spacious. Check-in is a short walk around the corner on Collins Ave, and it it there that you will find the pool and other amenities.

Love the hotel and the amenities (pool is nice and open til 11 or11:30...depnding who you ask). Love the sister apartment option for less that also gives you access to full main hotel amenities. Love the older workers, but the service of the younger workers lack information and care for getting the info...I.e. didn't know or care to find out about beach amenities, pool times, food times, etc. Housekeeping spotty replenishment of stuffs. But overall, a great stay...and this is our third trip to Miami and have looked inside rooms at all hotels north of 13th.

It's hard to find anywhere affordable in this prime real estate area of South Beach. The room was very basic and spartan, but clean and surprisingly large. It's a block away from the main Richmond Hotel, which is much nicer and has a pool and beach access. The person who checked me in (Pasqualina) treated me like a second-class citizen, either because I was staying in the low-rent annex or because I came through a discount site. I had to ask to get things like the wireless access code (which turned out to be wrong) and the gate access code for the beach. If you have a car, you're either on your own or you give the hotel another $30/day to valet park it for you.

Not a bad location - 2 blocks from south beach access. The rooms were not attached to the main office where check-in was. Again, you get what you paid for.

I would not stay here again. The studio is an old beat up apartment that has an old tv, old bathroom, everything old. Anyone can walk into the complex Bc there is no security also the worse is you can hear everything outside Bc of the thin windows. If u need a place to crash n don't care about these things then this may be the spot for you. But if this is for a date, birthday, or anniversary stay away!!

Apparently these rooms are overflow rooms to the actual hotel. Didn't feel so much like at hotel as it felt like staying at a mediocre (or less) apartment complex. It seemed to me like there wasn't much care put into these units - barely furnished, no room service, the local guide magazines were outdated by a couple of months, the body lotion bottle in the bathroom was used (half empty), and the front entrance had no security lock and anyone could just walk in. All of this would have been ok I guess if the price was substantially lower, but for the price, I didn't feel it was a good value.

Not clean or safe

My husband & I stayed in this hotel because it was within walking distance to a concert we went to see at The Fillmore. The rooms can use some updating, but were comfortable none the less. You can't go to South Beach & expect to stay in a swanky hotel unless you spend at least $500 a night. This was within budget, clean & comfortable. The only negative comment I have is that the only parking they have is valet. No other hotel parking.

The suites definately need to be updated. Hotel does not have free Wi-Fi. The Richmond does not have beach chairs and umbrellas like the neighboring hotels do. The doors that lead outside from the suites are made of repaired wood and glass and not safe due to the wood swelling in the tropical weather.
