I was here on my honeymoon and Me and my Husband had a wonderful time ! The hotel offers alot of nice Clubs and Resturants with Great deals and the Food is GREAT!

My stay was not too bad. They're still renovating certain portions of the hotel, and at some times the elevators were being worked on. Also, starting at about 8am, they were using power tools that were loud and annoying. During my stay, about 2 doors down, there was a very loud domestic disturbance. I could hear everything. I called security, and they were there very promptly and removed the offenders. Other than that, i thought the renovated rooms were very nicely appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable, the iHome system was awesome to listen to my iPod whilst showering. The shower had very nice water pressure, and had an obscene amount of towels available. The new plasma tv was nice to watch, and the leather couch/ lounges were a nice touch. Only downsides about the room were that it smelled funny, I booked a smoking room, but it smelled odd in some other way. Also, the walls are paper thin, and that's not an exaggeration. As for the casino, it's rather small, and from what I can tell, they don't pay out much. And really, skip the dinner buffet. It's cheap for a reason; it's inedible. The one server argued with me. I'm like, excuse me? I'm a culinary student. I know what I'm talking about. Anyway, this is not a bad place for the price. I would recommend it.

We stayed on their grand opening weekend. The first & second room had suspicious stains on the bedding. I left my other half in the second room while I went back to check in. The new hotel guest walked in on him , instead of marking the room dirty they gave it to the next unsuspecting guest. They said that was their second room. The manager did give us a $50 food credit. Walls were paper thin.

This weekend (April 2012) was apparently a warmup for their "real" reopening, the weekend of April 26-29. Good luck. I arrived after 7:30PM to be told my room wasn't ready, but "they had until 8 PM" to get me in the room. And I wasn't alone, as one other guest who arrived much earlier was still getting the same line. The maids actually finished sprucing up the room at ... 7:57 PM. The "Wine & Wifi" lounge, their version of a business center, was advertised to be open 24 hours for guests to use -- but it was closed ... for a private event. I was "carded" (asked by a human to swipe my room key card in a model door lock) every time I tried to head back to my room in the hotel part of the complex. No, not everyone was carded. It was the security person's call on who got carded. I'm pretty sure I figured out by the end of my stay what the criteria were, though, and believe me, no problemo. The Golden Nugget doesn't want people like me, and I don't want to stay there. Their version of a 24 hour "bistro" was completely in the weeds. I had to bolt for the in-casino show with my meal undelivered, but still tipped the wait person. The unfolding disaster clearly wasn't her fault, and I took up her time. Good luck with your "official" opening.

Trump had ruined the Marina , the Golden Nugget has brought it back.

I had a great time, I was very pleased with everything. Can't wait to go back for another visit. The Golden Nugget will be my first choice

My stay at Golden Nugget was great. My deluxe room was spacious and very clean. We had a great view from the 14th floor. Service was great. The only bad thing I can say about the hotel was that they were still doing a little bit of remodeling so there was machinery in the lobby at times. Other than that it was worth the money.

The hotel is very clean and nice. I wish it was completley finished and done but there is still work going on. On ground level Starbucks is coming soon and that will be a plus. One very turn down was that the Roulet tables does not have a trucker of what numbers were wining and you have to grab pen and paper to mark them. I will never play at GN again stay probably i would.

This hotel was our first time staying at and visiting Atlantic City. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and our first time away with no kids! This hotel was under renovations but only on the first few floors. Was really not a " omg, this is terrible". They had it hidden behind curtains and tarps, really not a bad thing. We were on the 25th floor, could not hear or see any work being done. Our room was beautiful,everything was new. Bed was comfy, bathroom was nice as well. Shower had two shower heads. Soooo relaxing. Staff all around, front desk, casino, gift shops and restaurant, were very helpful and polite. The only thing we really wanted was a jacuzzi, I had told the hotel that we were celebrating our anniversary,is there anyway we can get a suite. The answer was no, that they are reserved for the"high rollers". Well, that was not us. Lols. However, you can get them Monday thru Thursday. Oh well. We ate dinner and breakfast at "The Buffet". Both meals were worth it. Plus booking through hotels.com we got a buy on get one for there. Overall, it was great and I would go back!

Although the hotel looked like it was def going through a remodel the room that we got was very modern. I had booked a double bed room but they gave us a king size room and said it would have a sofa. The room was very nice but it did not include a sofa. When I called in to see if we could get a cot the front desk said they would call back but i never received the call. The bathroom door was tough to close. The lights they installed emitted way too much heat. The bed was very comfortable though. They were missing items like an iron and a blow dryer but I guess thats because of the remodel. The hallway that the room was located was very clean and the room overall was really clean.

The hotel is still under construction, but still looks good. The walls are terribly thin. I was awakened to a snoozing alarm clock at 6:30 am. It sounded like it was our own alarm. I finally had to call the front desk, so they sent security up, and I could hear every word that they were saying. Finally got back to sleep, and I woke up to about 4 people talking from the same room. If I didn't know any better, then I would have thought that they were taking to me. I heard their entire conversation. Other than that, I enjoyed the room.

This is the first time for me and my hubby stay at AC. We booked the Bay view room, it was beautiful! The room was newly renovated, the view is amazing ( the sunrise and sunset was unbelievable )! there's a little stuff that's bother but it wasn't a big deal at all compare to overall review. we recommended this hotel to everyone...my hubby is a picky person, so if he likes it i guess anyone out there might like it too. For us personally, Loves the new mattress that they got, it made us don't wanna go home and stay there for another night!
