Lovely inn in quiet town

This was a lovely alternative to staying in Quincy for the evening while driving along the River Road. We arrived later in the evening but the front desk staff were available and extremely welcoming and friendly. Check in was quick. Room was super clean, beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Everything in the town itself appears to be closed on Sundays and since we only stayed Saturday night, that was the only disappointment. I would recommend this inn and would stay again.

We loved our stay here & would stay here again if we are back in the area. The office ladies were super friendly & helpful. The hotel was clean. It was in a great, convenient location for seeing the Nauvoo historical sites. Our room had 2 beds plus a bunkbed. Also a small fridge & microwave. The pool was larger than most hotel pools. It was a great hotel!

The place is a great location for a great price. I felt the place was clean and well cared for. I did see some cobwebs and spiders that could be cleared away from the doors and cars readers to enter the side entrances. The staff was great at check in and check out. We had a room next to a utility closet, and after 9 PM they were still hammering and doing some sort of loud work right against our wall, but we just went over to let them know and they stopped. Maybe the staff could just make sure not to do stuff like that after 8 when kids are sleeping.

Everything was great. The only thing the boiler stopped working so the pool was cold. They also took out the hot tub which we were looking forward. They may want to update the picture that shows the pool and the hot tub.

September Get Away

The staff was very nice and friendly. I felt totally safe and welcomed which is important as a solo female traveler. I recommend bringing your own food as there is not allot of choices in town and a distance to travel to get something. Nauvoo is a beautiful place to visit.
