Our trip was a spontaneous one. Always good that Homewoods Suits are available. The hotel is always clean, spacious, accessible and provides a good night's stay.

Extremely dirty hotel.

Had to clean the room ourselves after arriving after midnight with two sleeping kids. The property is old and outdated. The whole place has a faint mildew smell. We got to our room, 432, and it had obviously not been cleaned other than trash taken out and a new top sheet, in quite a while. No cleans rooms were available to switch us to so my husband and I spend over an hour in the middle of the night changing bedding and cleaning everything with Lysol wipes from our car before we could get to sleep. The bedding is pathetic. Old worn out pillows. No comforter. No basic toiletries in the room. Dirty dishes in the sink and dishwasher. Filthy carpet. Cobwebs in the corners. Broken side table. Large damp spot on the sofa that smelled like urine. Walks has old drops of liquid running down all over. Layer of dust on the fan. Built up grime along baseboards. It was gross. The breakfast area was dirty. The two ladies running the area were very rude to anyone that asked a question. We left after the first night and booked a cheaper and much cleaner hotel but lost the $250 for the second night at this hotel and could not get a refund because we booked on hotels.com. This was our first time having such an awful experience at any Hilton property. It was a bad experience and if cleanliness is important to you, do not stay here.

The service was great.The room neede to be cleaned a little better and the bed was not comfortable.For the price of the room I was disappointed.

Pass

Needed to stay over in Shreveport/BossierCity for a family event. Brought along my dog and an elderly mother, the reason for wanting a kitchenette and living room separate from sleeping area. Checking in was easy enough and front desk staff was friendly. Took doggy and mother to room, dropped them off to be able to unpack the vehicle. As one might imagine w a family of four and an animal staying out of town for a number of days, there was A LOT of items to unload - luggage/bags/ice chest/dog bed/gifts for event etc. After unloading quickly we left the room to meet up w family and returned very late at night. To our surprise we found the room to be DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY!!! Dust on the picture frames, the remote control for the tv in the living room was NASTY, there were spider webs by the bathroom mirror and in the cooling/heating unit grills in the bedroom and living room something like dust bunnies were on them. One floor lamp was askew w no way to right it no matter how I tried and a lamp in the bedroom on the desk had a tattered shade that was so icky no way was I going to touch it accidentally by turning the lamp on. Ew! We did not complain to the staff as we decided we weren’t going to be in the room much other than to sleep (bedding seemed clean) and moving to another room would require so much extra work, no thanks! The pool looked pretty though we did not use it, nor did we attend breakfast in the dining area. I’ll not be back.

Disappointed

We stay at this hotel every time we visit Shreveport. It's a fairly decent hotel. However, this time was disappointing, because there were ants in and around the shower and spiders and spider webs throughout the room.

Amazing , my family really enjoyed it. Especially room service. Hot breakfast was delicious and delicious. Kitchen staff was very polite

The room was spacious but the bathroom had a used towel hanging up with the clean towels. Their were clean dishes left in the dishwasher, water went down slowly in the kitchen sink. I thought it was stopped up, I didn’t want to put my hands down of fear of the unknown. The garage disposal did work so I used that instead of putting my hand down there. The room had a funny smell. Thank God I always bring with me Lysol and Febreze. The air conditioner work well and the shower was spacious. We had a nice view outside our room. The pool area was nice and clean.

Worth the stop.

Pleasant service. Breaks fast food decent, it’s what you expect from a hotel. Property is well kept.
