I was looking for a quiet getaway where I could view the Northern Lights and Aurora Villa did not disappoint. It was private and I had a beautiful view from my room. It is extremely clean. It exceeded my expectations. I plan on returning next year.

Excellent place - just offer coffee, please!

I appreciate services are limited because of COVID, but there was no coffee or any pre-packaged food available at all. At a minimum, they can buy small Keurig / Nescafe coffee makers for the rooms. Offering granola bars, bananas, microwave popcorn, etc. would be a nice touch since there is no food nearby (Fairbanks is 15 miles away). Otherwise, this place is stunning. The lodge, the rooms, the view - all excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Aurora Villa

Great view of the snow and mountains. Also have free sledding if the weather condition permits. But the breakfast is just okay, not many options. Overall, great customer service and friendly staffs.

Awesome

Amazing place for Northern lights. Rooms and lobby with modern design. You have to prepare your own lunch and dinner though.

Great property, stayed in separate cottage. Water pressure needs improvement. Although a sign says that water pressure might drop during the day, there were times in morning or evening when no water came out of shower or sink to do dishes. WiFi and phone service sporadic at best. We did not mind since it is a retreat, but for the prize, this B&B is somewhat overpriced, considering is it out of season. That said we were happy to be there.

Thank you Emely and Shelby for making our stay so great! This is a wonderful, nicely tucked away respite location. The place has amazing views, the staff is very warm, welcoming, and helpful! If you’re looking for some R&R this place is lovely. Although the walls are a little thin and noise can travel easily at night...so everyone that stays has to be considerate of your neighbor. It was our first time out to Alaska and it was amazing!

Although the view and the room was excellent, the breakfast that was described while booking was not exactly breakfast but more like grab and go. It was highly disappointing as the price of the hotel was almost double and I was expecting a great luxurious vacation. They had bagels which were old and had mold which I threw away. There were packets of noodles which you could cook and eat. It looked more like a college dorm. Considering the fact that they don’t provide with lunch and dinner, I was expecting good breakfast but I was really disappointed. Also, It is not centrally located. If I had to eat lunch or dinner, I had to pay $40 per trip to go eat. Not convenient at all. The website said that the staff was on duty from 7am to midnight but it was inaccurate as the staff wasn’t there till late morning. This villa had prices of a 5 star hotel but it is operated like a college dorm.

Hotel and room has huge glass windows and perfect view of the trees and landscape. Place is hidden but easy to find with Apple or Google maps!
