Renovated Hotel in Alexandria

This is a really nice hotel. Renovated, bright, clean, with friendly service. Included breakfast was a step above what one normally receives at a hotel for the “free” breakfast. Pet friendly.

It was nice in all.

It's was good the people was friendly, but not quick to answer room service calls for room repairs. Let phone ring, i had to go 8 floors to get repair man.

You get what you pay for.

Out dated room next to loud elevator that ran out of coffee pods. Right near Beltway/I-95 and you hear it all night.

Great place for a stay

Had a home plumbing emergency and needed a close hotel immediately. Rapid check in and ease of extending the stay. Hotel is slightly older in side and could use a few updates on furnishing, wallpaper, etc.due to minor wear and tear. But modern decor, super comfortable beds, great breakfast (for a fee), free and plentiful on site parking (pretty much unheard of in the DMV and Alexandria area), walkable to Wegmans Grocery and multiple restaurants (Starbucks, Dunkin, Ted's Montana Grill, Delia's Mediterraean and Pizza, Galae Thai, Cold Stone, and a CVS) and close to IMAX. Walkable (2 blocks) to Eisenhower metro. Traffic noise, though off busy road/Interstate, is not bad. We had a small dog with us and he loved it, too. Walkable for him and nice grassy areas (more than one!). Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Not a bad hotel

Our 2 day stay was pleasant. The room was a lot smaller than we would have liked with 2 kids and one of them an infant. We had alot of stuff so it was a tight squeeze. Didnt have any issues during our stay.

Nice Stay

We stayed for 3 nights to visit family in DC.I prefer the Crystal City area because it's a much shorter drive into DC, but this Alexandria location was a very enjoyable stay. From our window we could see the Eisenhower Ave. Metro Station that would have been an easy walk. Also within view and an easy walk were Starbucks and Wegmans. Room was clean and comfortable. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. Only cons were the smallish elevators and pool was closed, but I would definitely stay here again.

Was very disappointed in the service at this hotel. They first of gave us the wrong room and then there was guests that were two doors down from us and the front desk gave someone else a key for the room without them knowing there was already guests staying. It was awful and very disorganized with no awareness. It’s terrible to put guests in a room then put another guests in a room when someone already in there. The guest went to open there door and there was a man in their said the front desk gave him this room and the ladies were so confused when there bags and everything were already in the hotel room. The man walked out of the room with no bags which is odd. The women that booked the hotel had to get new keys made to guarantee that no else would get keys to there room that weren’t with them.
