I wish they had given me a higher room to enjoy the ocean view instead of the first floor

The hotel was great! We enjoyed every bit of our stay there this past weekend. The young lady at the front desk was really nice and made the checking in process super smooth. The pool was opened so we got a chance to enjoy that with the kids. Because of Covid only 18 people are allowed in the pool at one time which was great. We booked 2 rooms and the hotel did great by having us side by side. We actually wanted to stay another night because our weekend was so chill, but we all had work the next day. The room was clean, but to make ourselves comfortable with this Pandemic we cleaned (disinfected) our room before settling in, and it didn't take much. We plan to return and mind you it was quite a few of us but when we do return, we will definitely be staying here again. Didn't pay too much or too little for our oceanfront front rooms. We had a great time on the beach and in our rooms!

Great staff. Clean hotel. Nice little restaurant. Centrally located every room had a balcony. Robert checked me in at 2am and had everything ready to go for me as I had called and asked for my room a day early I had driven right thru instead of stopping somewhere else. He had everything all set. Thanks Robert. My new go to hotel in Va Beach

Very nice stay. My only complaint was the elevator. We waited for 15 minutes for an elevator that wasn't full. Finally had to drag our suitcases down the stairs. If you are on a lower floor, you will have long waits as every floor above you has priority. Also, not enough parking

Perfect for a long weekend getaway. The hotel was clean, the staff was attentive and had positive attitudes, and the location was great. It was by no means "luxury", but for a few days at the beach, it was just fine and a really good value for the $$.

This was perfect for a quick weekend get away! All of the rooms are overlooking the ocean and right on the boardwalk. The room was small, but it was perfect for our family of 3. It was comfortable, convenient, and clean, that's what mattered to us. The staff were friendly as well. We ate dinner at the in hotel restaurant, Hemingway's. It was good, but in our opinion overpriced. The only downside was that if you cannot find parking right by the hotel in their tiny little lot, you can go across Atlantic Ave on 21st St to a lot there...but it's still free parking. When we need to get away from life in DC we will definitely stay here again.

Hadn’t been to Virginia Beach in 42 years and chose this hotel because of its central location. While the hotel was fine, it’s located in a poor area with lots of panhandling and people sleeping on the street.

Hard to give proper review due to covid-19 precautions, but overall a pleasant experience. Only negative was that they only had 2 elevators and only 1 worked while we were there.

I thought this hotel was just right for our 2 night stay on the ocean. I really enjoyed the hotel bar outside and the balcony.
