It was a modern hotel with friendly staff and the views were really good. Rooms were compact but modern.

Hotel: Great hotel, don’t have a bad word to say about it. Staff were helpful and cheerful, room cleaned every day. Good choice of breakfast items. The dinning area doubles up as Charlie’s Corner Restaurant later in the day. Good menu choice at reasonable prices and good service. Price: Great value. We saved approx £200 on our 7 day visit over Christmas 2019 compared with hotels in/closer to the Old Town. Occasionally we walked and occasionally used Bolt to get into the Old Town, depending on the weather. The money saved was not absorbed by taxi costs so the risk paid off. Location: Slightly further away from the Old Town than other hotels, approx 15-20 mins walk or 4 mins by Bolt, with an average cost of €3.50. Also on a major bus route with a bus stop right outside and the bus station a 5 mins walk away. We didn’t use the bus in our visit so can’t comment further. Tallinn airport only 10-15 mins away by Bolt, with an approx cost of €3.00. Summary: We visited Tallinn twice in 2019, first staying in a self catering apartment near the Opera House and once at this hotel inc. breakfast. Both were great trips but if hotels are your preference, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Ibis. Don’t let the location put you off, it’s not as far away from the centre as it seems.

We were very happy staying at this property. The place is spotless! Wish there had been coffee/tea set up in the room and there was a funky smell in the bathroom which may have been because of the newness of the building. Access to transportation is great - right outside the door!
