Cozy Lake House w/ Private Dock

The location is lovely and for the most part stay was comfortable. The owner was fairly easy to communicate with at first but after I started having some issues, e.g. with the dryer knob not working, it took him some time to respond and finally sent his handyman out to switch the knobs so I could work the dryer. The water running through the basement from the Artesian well is a bit unnerving and I would think that would be something that could be rectified; especially for those who would like to do a wash. The cabin is old but there are a few things that might dress it up and make it a little more comfortable; one of which would be a little more storage space e. g. a small cabinet under a new sink in the bathroom to put towels or a cabinet or shelves on the wall;dresser in the single bedroom; a few curtains and rugs would give the cabin a little more cozy and comfortable feel. The biggest issue I have had with the owner is that he made a verbal commitment to me 2 pay for some issues we had at the very beginning as far as cancellation and the price that I was charged but I have yet to see check... Keep getting promises but I have an idea he has no plan 2 ever pay me. Janet B.

Just what we were looking for

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the cabin. It was in a beautiful area and was rustic and charming. Ron was a great guy and I look forward to coming back and staying again. I highly recommend this cool little hideaway on the lake.
