Centara Experience

A short three night stay in this modern and clean hotel. Hotel is off the beaten track and a little to find with a number of small roads leading to the sea front.Excellent facilities and a very quiet location.

We took a short break mid week Wednesday to Saturday (3 nights). The hotel is situated right on the waterfront and was a little difficult to find initially as the “gps” coordinates were not entirely accurate. The hotel is accessed via some very small roads and is close to some condos with a similar name. Luckily we spotted hotel signage and having navigated many pot holes in the road we finally checked in. The hotel itself was very modern and our sea facing deluxe room was worth the extra charge. Many additional facilities of games room available at extra charge. Great outside jacuzzi and pool . Breakfast was included in the room charge and provided a good choice of western and Thai dishes from the sky bar area 8th (top) floor with lovely view of the sea.

kids friendly but terrible food

We put medium review for hotel because it was super kid’s friendly (swimming pool, garden, small kids club, kid room is awesome) The room was pretty nice (just lack of storage for a family room)but we are super disappointed with the food and the service. The Food was barely eatable, it didnt taste like Thai food at all. The pasta bolognaise was filled with whole pepper grain and not eatable!(the frozen meat is filled with it there is no way the Chef could do anything about it ) Nobody in the restaurant but still need to wait more than 40min for first plate to arrive. Breakfast is not that good either and lack of chairs and tables to seat at during busy weekends even if you go at 7.30am. Advice: the restaurant down the street is a way better and cheaper option. We were expecting better service by Centara.

I like the onsen spa and game room and food was good. What i dont like was the bed was a bit smelly and the aircon as well.

The front beach in Expedia website is not exist at the hotel. The real front beach at hotel cannot walking and playing water.

The staff was very friendly very helpful at all times from the front desk staff to the restaurant staff. Very clean hotel also. I defiantly recommend this hotel
