20th Anniversary

A really good experience. Check in was seamless, the restaurant was fully booked, but they made room for us, Tim, our waiter, brought little extras at the end of our meal. Lots of pillows, and the bartender accommodated our late night nightcaps. Thank you for everything.

Never again..

Treated a friend here for a night because the hotel is on the list as one oft the best hotels in Canada. Rank 11 out of 25.. what a Joke.. Thinking spending a night here would be heaven. You definitely pay the price for 5 stars but you don’t receive a 5 star experience. This is so far away from a 5 star hotel. The rooms at the Wedgewood, as others have mentioned, are very dated, stuffy, beds are super soft and all you can smell is starch. We were so looking forward to stay here looking at the top score reviews, but what a disappointment. Cracking floors, the bathtub is only for minions and there is not even a minibar or even a bottle opener. No ice in the ice cooler, the drapes are ugly and the view is just sad. In other words, the decor is old but not in a well maintained way. The front desk staff were not rude but also not friendly. Was told on the phone prior to booking that they are sold out but it showed availability on google. So I booked online instead. No one but the bellhop went out of the way to make us feel like a valued guest. Even remembered our names. There is no pool, fair enough due to location and age. The spa is a joke. One of the worst parts for me was that the room was not ready until 3:30 despite us asking for a early checkin because we wanted to get ready after a 6 hour drive to catch a show, which we were not able to make in time. Finally given the room keys we ran upstairs and showered but our luggage hasn’t arrived yet and we couldn’t get dressed. We

Amazing service, very central location for shopping and quality restruants. In a safe and clean location as well. Would certainly go back again!

The whole property was excellent but specifically the bellhop Kirby always went above and beyond. He made our trip so much better and always gave great insight. Thanks Kirby!!!!!!
