Don’t stay at the Super8ShitHole

Room was dirty. Building is in disarray. Parking lot is horrific. Definitely not worth the price.

Birthday Party Stay

Super 8 was everything myself and two other friends needed for a one-night stay in town. We were visiting for a friends bday that was celebrated near the super 8. It was easy to get to, check in and check out were very easy and staff was kind. The room itself had everything we needed, but was definitely a budget stay. The door handle was falling off to the bathroom, the mini fridge was rusty inside, the tub/shower was old and none of us showered there because there was also some mildew build up in the bathroom. However, the actual beds were clean, comfortable, and the wood floor made the space feel much nicer and cleaner than the bathroom. The place also has safe, free parking on the premises. We didn't eat breakfast, but there was a breakfast offered.

Don't stay here.

Check in was fine, friendly desk personnel and had a room ready despite the fact I was early. That was the last good thing I can say. The amenities are lacking, no glasses or cups, coffee maker but no carafe, coffee, or cups; breakfast was a fruit cup, and crackers in a brown paper bag. Repairs had been undertaken on the tub, but not completed, other amenities below standard.

We always stay at this hotel when we come to Austin but I was a bit surprised of the condition of the hotel. There was trash all over the parking lot. We arrived at 3 to check in room was not ready but didn't wait long. I was kind of skeptical about staying there with the people that they allowed to stay there long term. The staff was really nice. Once we were in our rooms the rooms were actually clean but I didn't feel really safe with a big gap between the front door up under the door. The vent in the bathroom was hanging from the ceiling that's not really safe. We left to go to our event and came back and noticed that someone had kicked the gentleman's motorcycle over and that made me feel leery because sometimes we ride our motorcycle down to Austin and we stay there so this is another thing that we have to think about when we decide to ride our bikes. Are all in all experience was good the beds were great the room was clean staff was great.

DON'T DO IT!!!!

I'm easy to please when it comes to hotels, so I normally book with super 8 as they have a general standard that is kept and they are cheap. This place was easily the worst place I have ever stayed. There were constant shouting matches in the hallways (much of which were the staff), loud base pumping from rooms 24hrs a day, open drug use and zombiesque people roaming the hallways, the rooms were VERY dirty, the doors wouldnt close properly, creepy characters watching you and lurking around corners, weird half size pillows. Other issues that i would normally live with but should be noted -- breakfast = granola bar and fuit cup. Front desk wouldnt help with minor request like providing towels or helping with the safe. The odd roach, no ventilation so the shower never dried, 1/2 the lightbulbs were missing. I was scheduled for 6 nights, showed up on day late then left after 2 nights. Fortunately Hotels.com helped me get a refund.

Room was supported to be non-smoking and it reeked of smoke! There was a huge stain on the mattress that you could see through the sheets! At checkout, tHe clerk told me to leave my cards on the counter while she stayed outside to smoke!!

extremely nosey and no hot water to shower! Barely got luke warm and bathtub was stained with mold...Cleaning people were nice and cleaned well but property was very old and unmaintained! Will never stay there again or another Super 8 for that matter.
