This was a stop off hotel inbetween our destinations. Pismo is a sleepy town out of season and although our room was clean and very comfortable there was a lot of building work going on around the hotel. The hotel itself is under going a big refurb which was NOT mentioned on the hotels.com site. I am glad we were only staying 1 night I would have been annoyed if it had been for longer

The hotel was very nice and clean . The only thing that bothered me was that the hotel desk called us before we left and said that we had a complaint from one of our neighbors that my son was too loud earlier that morning. He is 3 years old and did wake up early and was crying, however we calmed him down and was fine after that .. I understand how that would be frustrating for our neighbors, but I don’t understand what the point of the phone call was.??? was tha their way of saying don’t come back with your kids?? With that being said , I would suggest , if you have small kids find on other hotel .

Brought my 2 kids and they truly enjoyed their time here. We were Right on the beach pretty much and the scenery was beautiful! Place was under renovation but service was great and we still loved our room!

The hotel is under renovation, which came as a surprise. The lobby and the breakfast are inside a room. The "pier view" means that you will overlook a construction site. Hallways are dirty and the hotel in general is not well kept. The breakfast is highway motel quality. This way worse than you would expect from +$300/night price tag. The hotels next door looked much cleaner and nicer. The hotel staff seemed nice though.

There were still full renovations on the first floor and construction on the pier in the surrounding area which meant no views or peaceful mornings outside either. Breakfast was so s muffins and bread served awkwardly in a first floor hotel too because of the renovations. Think that power price point or inclusions like an actual hot breakfast would have been good.
