Good affordable, middle-of-the-road option

The door has a sign indicating masks are required, which is fine by me. No one was masked in the facility except for my travel companion and me. The guest services worker was watching TV and seemed disrupted when tending to my check-in. A deposit of $100 was requested via card or cash. No problem. The deposit was for incidentals, and “no smoking” was verbally expressed and reiterated. No problem. I used the stairs to the third floor, and upon opening the doors from the stairwell, I walked into a cloud of marijuana smoke, which was visible and very strong in odor. The stay was pleasant enough in the room. The shower pressure was very weak. The furniture has seen a lot of use. The noise level was very low. The room looked out to a cornfield and pretty view of the sun setting. The on-site, indoor pool looked well managed, but we didn’t utilize that amenity. Check-out was simple. The manager inspected the room and returned the deposit. This hotel is located just off the interstate and near several restaurants. The continental breakfast was not what the night staff shared it would be, which was disappointing, but there were a few options nonetheless. I would stay here again, but if you’re looking for fancy, sharp, or outstanding customer service, this wouldn’t be the place for you.

Disappointed

Had no hot water in our shower, and occasionally no water coming out of the shower head at all. Front desk was nice but had no other room to move us to. Breakfast was non-existent. Bread or waffles. No fruit?!? Floors in the room were laminate and turned our feet black! Don’t recommend at all.

Great overnight stop. Desk clerks were polite and helpful. Linens were older and worn, but very clean! Loved smelling the bleach! Overall very clean. Great stay for the money. Cons: Low water pressure and "hot" water was lukewarm. Made for fast showers. Breakfast was ALL carbs, cereal, bagels, toast, waffles, sweetened yogurt, biscuits and gravy. If they would add hard cooked eggs that would be great...

Weekend getaway

This hotel was fine for my family's needs. The staff was nice. The room was clean. The pool was very small.

Decent Hotel

The hotel was alright. It's not bad if you just need a place to crash. The hotel staff was kind, but there was some miscommunication with a different staff member which caused a delay in my stay. The place itself was in acceptable condition but nothing great. The bathroom and everything worked fine. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were really bad. The room was a good size and had everything furnished. The AC worked but not very well so it got hot during the night.

Upon arrival, the room had no air because the plug was burned out and unplugged. We then had to be .oved to a different room with one bed and unsure if there was hot water and i needed 2 because i had 2 children with me. Was given a cot for them. My mom's room had no hot water at all. The next day was better because they moved me and my family along witb my mom and her husband to 2 new rooms that were alot better.

Check was horrible. I did not know I had to have an extra $100 to check in. I was not old enough to get a hotel room. This could of been serious if my mom hadn't came with me. I am 18yrs old. Housekeeping never came to up keep the trash, towels, or bed. This is why it's just a two star hotel maybe they could hire someone that actually wants to work. I go out barefoot I would get looked at but if I went out in socks they would get soaked.

Good economical place to stay.

The room was clean and quiet. Staff friendly. Bed comfortable. My only issue was that there was only one ice machine and it was on the first floor. My room was on the second floor. Would have been nice if there was a second ice machine. Close to St. Louis.
