Great location for ASU and Mill Ave

The location was great. A few minor changes would really improve the comfort and convenience factors. The check-in process is a little bit complicated, but we figured it out. The first unit we checked into was not the room type we booked. Luckily someone happened to be nearby (there isn't a front desk or anything like that), and he was very helpful and got us to a different unit. The second unit smelled strongly of marijuana, but we didn't want to move again. Would strongly recommend investing in some fitted sheets for the bed (the flat ones do not stay in place at all) and some better shades (the lights from the pool area stay on all night and the shades barely dimmed them). Overall the units are clean and spacious, and we enjoyed our stay.

Intrusive ID requirements AFTER you book.

BEWARE!! Booked this through Hotels.com based on reviews. THEN found that not only do they want you to log in and create a personal profile with copy of Drivers Licence, etc, they also wanted a front and two side photos of your face for their 'Biometric records'. I'm sorry, but NEVER have I been asked to provide Biometric records in order to check in at a property. You have no choice but to agree to all of their requirements as they do not give access to the property unless you are registered inn their system. I provided everything else but objected to Biometric records being given to what sounded like an offshore company during a call. If they had advised that this was a requirement BEFORE booking I would not have done so. I cancelled reservation and will now no doubt have to argue for a refund.......

I love the property the size of the room the cleanest the gym was an amazing gym they have this overview scenery at the very top of the complex that you could see the sunset in Anwaar rising very beautiful I recommend anybody in the Tempe area visiting to stay here

Communication and check in/check out were seamless. Close to restaurants and walkable. Kitchen wasn’t as clean as I would have liked (counters had crumbs, coffee maker a bit dirty). Liked having laundry in unit and furnished kitchen. Shades in bedroom could be darker. Couch in seating area not super comfortable.

Overall this is a great place to stay if you are into the city vibe. Grocery store directly below the units so you don’t even need to exit the building. A lot of walkable shops and places to eat within minutes. The light rail is a 5 minute walk if you need to go to the airport or down town to a Suns game. There was a few negative issues about this specific unit but I believe these to be minor. There was no TV reception but fortunately we have Netflix. The wall plug next to the table did not work and we had to set up my wife’s work station next to the TV. Every morning around 6am there was some sort of repetitive banging that would start that echoed through the concrete structure. I do need to add that our unit was overlooking Ash street and the firehall is on the adjacent side of the street the next building over so if you’re a light sleeper like my wife this may not be the place for you. As I said, I have no issues with Sonder or it’s location and would definitely stay there again.

This was by far the BEST property I’ve been at in a long time. The rooms were adorable and the raising Arizona was a great evening view and the BARCADE…the staff was great!
