As always a nice stay. However the view from the room was kind of ruined by significant bird poop on the windows. Also a suggestion if you are going to have early morning and late night pool hours that certain hours be set for family swim times. It’s just that screaming children at a certain hour doesn’t equal a restful stay and hurts the ambiance a bit of your bar.

Morning Scare from Housekeeping

We booked on line thru hotels. Maybe the reason for wheelchair room. We arrived late around 2:00 AM , and were given room right next to elevator , so in early AM 6:30 ish was talking noise from customers going up and down elevator etc. So very disrupting sleep. Then before we had checked out we had a housekeeping person I presume let him self into room without knocking & scared us bad. Once he realized we were still there he quickly kind of said sorry & closed door. Was not a good experience to say the least. My spouse was very traumatized. Check out was very quick. Parking lot and front entrance needs to be cleaned up. Lots of bird droppings and cigarette butts around front door on sidewalk , parking lot was littered with misc type of smaller type garbage drink cups napkins etc.

Disappointing

A previous guest’s left over takeaway in the fridge and their socks in the room. The rest of the hotel not at it’s cleanest. Service in the restaurant slow. However, food was good and they paid for a taxi in lieu of their shuttle bus not working.

Cooling system was a little underwhelming

The room was old, curtains ripped, faded, mattress was old and hard, pillows were rock hard, and A/C didn't work.

Poor house keeping deliveries

Spent 3 nights there. There was no housekeeping service. Asked for clean towels and shampoo. They said we would get that but it didn’t happen.

The front desk service was good, I found two hairs in the bathroom, one in the sink and one on the counter. The room was quite warm and didn't cool down at night. We called the front desk to have maintenance to fix it when we were gone, came back and still hot. We tried adjusting the temp more and the fan level and it finally started to cool down a little bit. The hotel is in a good location, close to the airport and main roads. We may choose a different hotel next time?

Time to upgrade & renovate

Really run down, stains on furniture & floors. They balcony on second floor had broken furniture all over the place, bird poo & rusted beams. Just doesn’t feel clean anymore, therefore, not comfortable. Staff were amazing, but they can only work with what they have. Time to renovate SK Inn
