Our stay was pleasant enough, but the room could have been cleaned throughly, lots of threads all around the ground..the Beds clean and comfy-only Coffee, and we are Tea drinkers so we had to go out and find some.. I'll give them 7 stars, honestly...

Clean hotel for price, but no gym, despite photos

The hotel is good for the price, room was clean and tidy, including bathroom. The staff had the heat running before I got there, which was appreciated. The poor rating I gave was for false advertising. I specifically searched Hotels.com for a hotel with a gym. This hotel has a lovely picture of a small gym with three machines. When I arrived and asked for a room near the gym, they explained that they didn't have a functioning gym and that all three machines were broken. When I expressed that the gym was why I book this particular hotel based on the photos on the website, I was given an unsatisfactory response. This hotel should take down any photos that don't apply.

I was given a room which had not had the heat turned on for some time. Although I turned the heat on at approximately 11 pm-- the small blower device under the window-- it was 2 am before I could stop shivering and go to sleep. Ironic, since as a health care provider, I booked the room due to shifts under 8 hours apart, and the need to sleep. In addition, there was someone's DIRTY CLIPPED TOENAIL in the corner of the bathroom floor. Absolutely disgusting. Cleaning is not a priority there. So, it was so cold I couldn't sleep and dirty. Not going back.

There were stains on the sheets and the pillows, the shower curtain had a smear on it, the floors were not swept, and the bathroom was not clean.

No refunds for a reason!

Door key (plastic card) did not work. Solution? Let's me in with a standard key that I did not have. If I needed to leave the room I needed to not latch the door. Heater did not work, Microwave did not work. I slept fully clothed including my heavy coat. No wonder they only allow you to book with no refunds!! No one would stay.

Sheets in room were dirty, parking lot was not plowed or salted/sanded after recent snow-storm, the "breakfast" room was extremely sparse. Only 2 kinds of dry cereal, no fruit, coffee & juice cups had no lids, and there was not enough batter for the waffle machine to make a single waffle. I was the first and only guest to arrive for breakfast, and there was no staff on hand to assist me.
