Very nice! Made last minute reservations for Valentines weekend! Enjoyed a nice carriage ride on the property. Looking forward to returning during warmer weather to enjoy the Lazy river.

Nice quiet resort, great for families with on property water park. In house grill has wonderful breakfast and fabulous staff

Stayed only one night, but enjoyed it thoroughly. The room was nice, clean and inviting. The staff was helpful. Want to come back during the summer with grandkids for water park and giant pool. The grounds were beautifully maintained. Will be back.

The property is beautiful and the owners are doing a great job restoring it. Everything seems to be very well up kept and clean. We stayed in a king room, it was a bit on the smaller side compared to most hotel rooms, but we were only there to sleep so it wasn't a huge deal. My only complaints would have to be that the cable didn't seem to be working at 100% and upon Check In their system went down. It was showing my payment that I just made didn't go through although the money had already been taken from my account. The girl realized it was a system glitch but had to wait for it to be resolved before it would let her make my room keys. Therefore we had to be let in by maintenance anytime we wanted to enter our room until their system issue was resolved. Other than that, the people were all very friendly and apologized for the little mishaps. We do intend to go back with our children during the summer to enjoy their large pool, lazy river, water playground, and large slides. My only hope is that their other rooms offer much more space than their king room did.

Found the Oasis when looking for somewhere to stay at the beach after a short trip to New Orleans. The campus is huge but very nice. The room was great as well. You are directly across from the ocean but they put us in a room with no view even though the place was essentially empty. Walked to the beach which was good. There is a great pool and water slide area that I’m sure kids would love in summer. Front desk person was very nice and helpful. Blue Marlin restaurant food was really good but pricey. Overall a great time and would stay again.

Spot on! Right by the beach. Water park on site looks amazing (unfortunately closed as we went in december). Lady in hotel grill (Karen, I think) was very accommodating. I was surprised by resort fee added to our bill, for 'parking and internet etc'

While it was a beautiful compound, the smell in our room related back to the days when it was a Veteran's Hospital, It smelled terrible. Also there was no blow dryer in the room.

The overall experience was great. Room was clean. Staff were friendly. We will definitely be staying here more often!

The property is beautiful with a lot of history. It is right across the street from the beach.

We were passing through Gulfport on a cross-country road trip and chose this for a wonderful one-night stay. The beach is just across the street so our stay was bookended by long sunset & sunrise beach strolls. The front desk gave us a great restaurant recommendation and we enjoyed a fantastic seafood dinner on the patio at Salute. The only thing we wish they would rethink is the music blaring outdoors. This might make sense during the busier season but here we were in winter during Covid with the place practically to ourselves & everywhere we walked we had to listen to pretty terrible music that really detracted from the atmosphere
