We were very comfortable and had a nice stay. However the check-in was not so nice. We booked via Expedia and made it clear that we would be traveling with a five-year-old and a two-year-old. When we arrived, the person at the desk told us that we could not stay in the room with four people because it was not safe. He would not explain why it wasn’t safe but kept repeating that it wasn’t safe. He eventually alles the manager and said it would be ok “just this once”. If it is not allowed or safe for two adults and two young kids to stay in one room then please change your room parameters on Expedia and other search sites.

On arrival we were kept waiting for a very long time for a member of staff to arrive who could actually check us in. At check-out we had to insist that we had not had the drinks that we going to be charged for. The room was pleasant, bathroom good and it was nice to be given a kettle so we could make coffee in the morning.

Great location, comfortable bed, nice shower. The person who checked us in was very brusque and gave us very little information about the hotel. The room was very dark, even more so due to the broken lamp. When we told the guy at the front desk, he looked at us unbelievingly and asked us if we were “sure about that”, twice. “Yes, the bulb is hanging off of the side of it.” It was not replaced. Morning staff much friendlier.

We had a room at the ground floor next to the street. Sometimes you can hear a car driving by or people talking in the street.The room is comfortable and clean. The staff at the reception is professional and friendly.

Very well situated hotel. Great room.

I loved every minute of our stay at the Bastion hotel, walking distance to every where whether is a restaurant cafe's or sight seeing even the bus stage.. near to the airport as well.. although our only concern were the taxi fees as its expensive for a short trip but over all all was positive, the hotel very comfy cosy and clean

A recepção primeiro deu cartão errado que não abria a porta do quarto, também não deu informações precisas sobre o uso do estacionamento, que fica há uns cem metros e que não dava acesso com o tíquete do parking, tivemos que retornar ao hotel para orientação e ainda assim não funcionou, o próprio funcionário do estacionamento nos ajudou, transtornos que podem ser evitados.

De kamer bleek al in gebruik! In de volgende kamer hadden we lauw douchewater. De bedden schoven steeds uit elkaar. Het ontbijt was het geld niet waard.

Very pleasant, excellent and friendly service for my son and me.

Our stay was wonderful. Only issue was that we asked for two extra pillows in the room. We didn’t hear from anybody after our request at the front desk
