Room was non smoking, but smelled like smoke. Bought air freshener since I was only there for one night. The bathroom door would not close. Property looks way nicer in the photos then it is.

Clean Comfy Stay in El Paso

Rm 226 Airport Motel 6 El Paso is the cleanest Motel 6 I’ve stayed in (cleaner than Fort Collins, much cleaner than sketch Reno). The bed is newer. Parking in U layout at/below rooms, so you see your auto from window. The staff when I checked in was professional, patient. kind - even dealing with eviction of a young couple out of $ and no place to go. In the morning, packing my car, I locked myself out of my room. I went to the front desk window to get a replacement key. 2 police officers were patiently dealing with a mentally ill/on drugs man with no pants on – a cop holding out the guy’s jeans, placating, “are you sure you don’t want these.” They got him to walk and stayed to chat with staff. My mask was locked in my room, so I kept distance and when I got attention from the clerk who was outside, I said I was locked out of my room, ”here’s my ID, I can set it down (on a car) and you can pick it up.” She insisted I must be wearing a mask. I explained my masks were in my room. She insisted. I went to my car, got poly pro leggings and tied both legs around my mouth. I slipped my ID thru the slot. When she asked what room number she couldn’t hear my muffled reply. She kept looking at her keyboard. I gently tapped on the plexiglass and used my fingers to give numbers. She said rudely, “you don’t have to knock on the glass like that.” I threw up my arms in mime exasperation. If they have an ice machine I didn’t find it, and I wasn’t going to talk with her again.

You get what you pay for, right? At the very least, the property was clean and the receptionists were friendly and helpful. The room itself smelled like cigarettes and urine at times. I would not recommend this motel to anyone unless they really wanted to save a few bucks.

There was nothing unique about this motel at all. Horrible costumer service. the employe at the lobby is extremely rude! She denied services when i already paid for my room online.i wasnt able to sleep in the room i paid for and the lady walked away on me and said theres no manager u can speak with.
