Overall, it is a good hotel. It is close to a shopping area in west Berlin and a train station, from which there is train directly to SXF airport and the ticket only costs 3.40 euro. It is unusual that in room there is no kettle, no coffee, no tea and no bottle water. For drinks, I had to go to reception to buy coffee or tea. A cup of coffee costs 3 euro. I did not experience this in any other hotel.

The NH Berlin Kurfürstendamm was the perfect place to stay for a few nights. Although it is a few hundred feet from one of Berlin’s major thoroughfares, the immediate street is quiet and uncongested. Its place on Grolmanstraße is ideal. The street is commercial and residential, with shops, restaurants and bars occupying much of the ground floor. Trees line the street and sidewalks are ample. Just a short distance away is Savignyplatz with an unusually high density of decent Italian restaurants, and one of the world’s best known art and architecture bookstores, Bücherbogen. The front desk staff were very welcoming. They spoke perfect English, and seemed genuinely interested in their guests’ enjoyment of their stay. Breakfast was very good, with a full selection of breads, charcuterie, fruits, and other breakfast dishes. Items were replenished regularly and the staff was on top of greeting guests with coffee and order-taking. Overall, the quality of the breakfast, including service, was relaxing, and most enjoyable. The guest bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed, with furnishings and accessories in good condition, clean, and well presented. The rooms were also of a decent size––no sense of being cramped in a typical “infill” European hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business travelers or vacationing couples. It represents good value, for a safe, central, professionally managed, and well-cared-for stay.

The hotel is modern with many positive features. It is centrally located, very close to the city Underground Station, taxis, shopping areas and restaurants of the Ku-Damm. Staff is friendly and efficient. Our checkin was very fast, on a Thursday late afternoon. Our room had a good size, was well insulated (Very quiet) and was very clean too. The bathroom, although not big, had a bathtub. Overall a very pleasant stay. We put the hotel in our favorites list for our next trip to Berlin.

We have stayed in another block. It seemed very confusing at first but over all experience was ok. You have to go through car park and semi open area in a cold day to get to your block. Internet wifi was especially good. Our view was train lines. I thought there would be some noise but thanks to German Engineering the noise was in acceptible levels. And the trains were lovely to watch every 2-3 minutes. Room was very spacey. They could use some sofa or couch because there were plenty of room. It was cold during December. Outside was 2 degrees celcius but the room was ok. Overall cleaning and other services were very good. Reception personnel is the best. They were very welcoming. The hotel is very close to U line and 350 meters to bus stop. And this is a very good location. You are very close to Tesla and Apple and other world famous brands. I would definetely stay there again.

The location of the hotel is really nice with lots of great neighborhood-offerings. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had to switch rooms once, because of a train track right next to the window, so if you are bothered by noise and need to have the windows open, request a room that doesn´t face the train track. Connected to the hotel is a great bar to end the night. Overall a really great experience.
