Oval Hotel

Overpriced

For the price we paid it is definitely overrated. The rooms are very small and room service is definitely overpriced for what you get. Whilst the property is modern, clean and has excellent staff, we would only stay here again for convenience such as a function at Adelaide oval. I would suggest for the price of $450 a night, that they throw in parking which cost $30 and room service breakfast as well as including the $25 room credit and welcome drink as that was included in the stay. Then it would feel value for money.

Lovely hotel and very nice staff.

Room was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for those who want to be slightly outside of the main part of the city but still within walking distance.

Recommend

Really good hotel. Extremely comfortable and clean. Very easy access to the stadium on a game day. Amazing experience! However, front office staff isn't friendly. They don't even smile. I am a Gold member at hotels.com and showed them that I could claim 3 things: late check-out, $25 voucher food/beverages and a welcome drink. Their response was a free late check-out only, nothing else. I had to pay for breakfast, minibar and drinks at the bar without any discount or free welcome drink. I will definitely stay there again because the hotel in general is amazing and all other staff members are lovely, except front desk people.

Disappointed for the price per night one shouldn’t have to ask housekeeping for towels and toiletries, items should have already been replenished. Location is fantastic. Easy parking.

Don’t look any further, this is it!

This hotel is so funky and the service was exceptional. The rooms are very generous in size and the bathrooms are to die for. I loved relaxing in the free standing bath and the shower is for two. The bar downstairs was so accommodating with a great menu and refreshments. We hope to come back next time we are in Adelaide.

Loved the venue, relaxing, friendly welcoming staff. Room clean and spacious, bed really comfortable and beautiful view over the parklands. Highly recommend this hotel, we will be back!

Everything was amazing, except the directions to our room were not clear, and, there was a big lineup to the only elevator that was available. Was hoping for clear directions at the elevator, but, there was nothing, and, it wasnt only myself who was confused. I saw one couple go up and down the elevator 4 times! So, a little more directions would be good.
