Nice hotel

Nice spacious rooms. TVs were much larger than typical hotel TVs, so that was a plus

Far from perfect, but ok.

The room was not ready till after 5pm. No room service, which is ok but I wasn't allowed to order food to go from the restaurant either, and getting food delivered to the room from another service was a no go because of the parking lot restrictions. With 2 small dogs I couldn't leave alone to go meet the food delivery and maneuvering them through the hotel was a bit much as it was very busy and people do not control their children. Had I been able to reenter the stairs crownds could be avoided.

Quick stop in GB.

We arrived late so our stay was short but the room was nice and clean and the staff friendly. The bed was comfortable and I was able to get a good cup of coffee in the morning.

Disappointing

I stayed here a few years ago and it was excellent. This time, however, we were disappointed. First of all, we were charged a $25 for checking in early. I’ve never heard of that in my life! Second of all, we didn’t even have a car and they charged us for parking. Third, my sister did pay for parking but she couldn’t find a space and had to park across the street. The service at the restaurant for breakfast was super slow. The women who worked in the pub were rude—they told us they were tired and didn’t really seem to care that we got good service. I understand that maybe the hotel was understaffed and overworked, but we are hard working people who wanted a nice vacation and it was just rather disappointing. I hope they can improve because we used to love this place.

Just what we needed

Nice large suite. Very comfortable. With the suite door closed the bedroom was very quiet.

Difficult on-site parking

The location is great for food & entertainment downtown Green Bay. Though there is a parking lot at the hotel, it was VERY difficult to actually get a parking spot in the evening. Quite frustrating having to circle the lot until a spot opened up. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable but there was a constant, deep rumble from some power source that was annoying and took some getting used to.

The hotel was beautiful! Old yet modern! We did not eat at the restaurant this time. Pool was just big enough and had a little splash pad for little kids. During busy times elevators are hard to get and my only wish was the in room bathroom was bigger. We had a 2 queen bed suite with a pull out couch. So maybe other styles of rooms have bigger bathrooms. Just hard to navigate giving kids showers/baths. It’s close to downtown and fun places to go! We plan on going to this hotel again!

Meh

Good location. Good bar & bartender. Comfy bed. Nor a welcoming check in. If using 3rd party reservations, there are exrra charges for early check in. Many sales pitches to become a member of rheir rewards program. Toilet bowl was cracked, thankfully didnt leak. Would likely choose a different hotel if/when returning to Green Bay.
