Doubletree Jacksonville

Good, clean hotel. Thought it was on the side of the river walk with the restaurants so really nothing is close to walking distance but RUTH CHRIS steakhouse is on premises, which is very expensive. Pool was nice, crowded, and room was clean.

Absolutely horrible!

It smelled off all if looked nothing like the photos and to top it off tgey had freakin bed bugs. They moved us to a new room but we were so uncomfortable and paranoid we couldn't sleep. They did issue us a refund but i would never stay there again nor recommend anyone staying there!

Nice view and comfortable bed

The hotel was nice. It does need updating but the bed was comfortable and it was clean. The view was nice from the balcony and we saw dolphins in the river, but only one of our balconies had patio furniture on it. The only real complaint I have is that I had to walk to the front desk to get assistance because no one would answer the phone.

I was only there for 4 hours to get ready for a concert I came in town to attend. I room was clean and staff was excellent in ensuring my short stay was pleasant.

Booked but not right room

Reserved a room. Did not get it. Did get a discount but still no frig or microwave.

Did not meet expectations

Staff was friendly and courteous, but room, bathroom, and furniture was old and not upgraded. Bathroom had a tub and a shower frame, but instead of a shower door, there was a curtain rod wedged in with a shower curtain. Sliding door to balcony was rusted and door lock not functional. There was an added pin to lock the door. Door track so dirty, so it could barely slide open. Not what we expected for a Hilton Doubletree. Since Ruths Chris steakhouse was the restaurant onsite, expectation was that the room would be nicer. Beds small, however bedding and pillows were clean and comfortable.

Park where?

Good, the parking situation could be much better. Valet parking should be marked better, and garage self parking should have better directional signs ie elevators and exits. No directional arrows or clear exit points. You have to park in the congested unloading area before u can Park as you need a room key to get into parking area. Don’t leave your room key or turn it in as you need it to get out of the parking garage after checkout.
