Scaffolding and construction outside, dark and slightly outdated rooms with no special touches at all, $40 parking - overall, felt like I was paying 4-5 star rates for a 3 star hotel at best. Don't let the lobby or restaurant photos fool you.

Disappointing stay.

Hotel under construction so scaffolding currently covers the entire front of the building and obstructs the entire view. This information was not available at time of booking. The hotel front desk phone was also disconnected so there was no was to contact the hotel in advance of our stay. When asking about this during checkin the reception team just laughed it off. The room was clean but the fixtures were not functioning properly; bathroom sink faucet was very hard to turn on and off, shower temperature difficult to control.

When we checked in- the front desk mentioned the construction but then gave us a letter about fire testing for the next two days - She did mention though that on the 11th floor the bar and restaurant have a beautiful view and we would be able to catch the sunset that night- when we went up there all of the windows were parchmented off. Which we felt we were lied to The room was dirty . We ask the front desk if we can get it cleaned. They never did . When we asked for room service the next day to clean the room again. All they did was leave towels. There was a lot of extra charges we have no clue about like $40 a day to park which we had no clue about and $100 a day in incidentals The balcony was dirty which was the biggest disappointment. And even though they said construction would start at 9 AM it started even earlier than that Overall it was a disappointment . $300 a day for the room plus all the added hidden fees frustrates me . It’s my hard earned money and I haven’t had a vacation and seven years. When I told the front desk about my disappointment she just said “ i’ll just tell my manager because we can’t do anything“

Amazing location and friendly staff. Beautiful views. Undergoing upgrade so looking forward to visiting again when renovated.

Was not aware that renovation were going on at the hotel, there is a scaffolding in front of our balcony, I love spending time outside and had choose this hotel for its balconies, I should be getting a discount.

Enjoyed my place stuff etc but unfortunately I stayed at a time where the scaffolding covered the whole building so obstructed the beautiful view from our room. (Otherwise very happy)
