Good Place, friendly staff and close to the Metro Station.

Hotel a bit shabby. Tattered lamp shades in lobby and very few staff. Never saw any bell people to help with liggage. Rude concierge who yelled at me because some random teenager was sleeping on the lobby sofa & thought he was my travel companion. Never apologized until I confronted him later. The room given ys was on the ground floor way in the back of hotel. Carpet leading to room had edges showing with carpet tacks showing around edge. Room extremely small, with wierd empty tiled area in bathroom where we had to store our luggage. Small closet and no drawers for clothing. Lighting in room was very shappy & had to turn on and off by unscrewing bulb. Sorry I wasted three free nites at this dump!

Hotel was adequate. Room was small. Bed was comfortable. It reminded me of my freshman dorm room. Bathroom was tight for one person. It may be typical of London but it was not like the picture on the website. We did not eat here but the restaurant looked inviting. The neighborhood is close to Kensington.

The hotels in London are not what I am used to in the states, well no Duh. You really better plan $300+ per night for a proper modern 4 star+ hotel. This is not at that level. I booked a studio suite and all of them are 1st floor right on the street, way too noisy. I accepted a downgraded room just to find peace. The management and service was very good and gave me a great quite little room, dated and small, but peaceful and charming also. Ended up satisfied.
