Great location. Friendly staff. Awesome concierge service. Great housekeeping service. Friendly attendants in the parking garage. Excellent in room service. Loud plumbing noise from other rooms. Room was too small. There were some issues with electrical connections and window blinds. Good place to stay, location is amazing. Friendly staff and good food in onsite restaurants. Hotel is not easy to get around, with no clear signs where to check in, exit, etc. Its quite a maze.

Place is great but if you want a room with a fireplace (which I recommend strongly) make sure you ask for one - the pictures are a bit deceiving.

Beautiful historic hotel with an on-site restaurant. In the heart of historic downtown for shopping and strolling. Room was comfy and clean. Would definitely stay again!!

We had yet another wonderful stay at La Fonda on the Plaza, the only hotel we will stay at when traveling to New Mexico. The parking was convenient. The area was safe for families with a vast array of restaurants within walking and driving distance. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. Ivy, at the concierge desk, was easily accessible and offered friendly assistance throughout our stay. Especially during COVID, the implementation of their policies was very appropriate and reassuring. We look forward to our return.

The front desk guy was a real jerk! He was rude, not helpful at all. We checked in late, with a puppy, and after circling the lobby area for a good 15 minutes trying to find the front desk (which was behind a corner, not easily seen), we had to ask a guest where it was. The front desk guy was watching us walk around (with bags and a puppy) the whole time, and didn't take the initiative to say "hey... are you looking to check in?" even though it was more than clear. He was also rude, and abrasive. I was shocked by all the "add on" fees including a $50 pet fee per night and $20 a day to park in the ramp - that was ridiculous! We ordered room service (because we arrived 10 minutes before the restaurant closed) after a long day of driving, and the room service staff was awesome. Food was pretty good. I wouldn't recommend staying here because there are several less expensive spots to stay nearby, and it was definitely not worth the exorbitant fees!

Another WONDERFUL stay at La Fonda on the Plaza. This establishment is taking COVID seriously, and still offers fantastic amenities and services, and is our go to place to stay in Santa Fe. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms, great service, and the best location for proximity to the Plaza. We will look forward to returning.

Don't stay any place else---La Fonda is simply THE BEST. We have been coming here repeatedly for years, and each visit is better than the last. This hotel is constantly looking for ways to improve the guest experience, and they are doing a great job managing COVID requirements while simultaneously offering guests a stress and worry free stay. We will return next year, and will look forward to it!
