Mice…and other bugs

I would have added a video, but I do not see that option. I chose this property because it had strong reviews especially over other hotels like the Microhotel. I paid and extra $50 per night to make sure it would be a good experience. Unfortunately, paying extra did not result in better quality. Can you say mice? Like really! The first night my young one thought she saw something crawling in the room, but given our long flight - I thought she was delusional. By day two, I realized she may not have been delusional at all. Why? Because right in the middle of the day, right in the middle of the parking lot, right in the midst of the afternoon, a mouse was sitting and seemingly having a drink of water in the middle of the parking lot. The mouse didn’t seem at all bothered by our presence, camera or commentary. That mouse knew he belonged right there and in that moment, I knew I didn’t beling at the Sonesta! That said, if you don’t mind mice, bugs and poor service, this is your place! Book a room today! But if you are looking for a reasonable level of quality, go elsewhere and go there fast!

It was very pleasant. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. I was not very happy with the breakfast menu. I was looking forward to bacon or sausage, but the meat options were not very good but the stay was very nice other than that. Definitely would stay there again.

Very comfortable and clean

The room was clean and comfortable. Very affordable for the time we needed it for and enough space for my family. Everything was easy to get to and if I had any issues, the front desk was always very helpful. The room service women are very friendly and do an amazing job.

VERY UPSETTING

The front desk manager/supervisor (afternoon shift) was completely rude. When the FD agent went to get her to see if she could help me with an issue upon arriving for check in she took 1 look at me and never looked at me again. Instead of attending to my concern, she went ahead and started to help the people behind me and checked them in. When she spoke to me she didn’t look at me, instead kept her vision in the computer screen. And out of nowhere just stopped dealing with me and walked away. Said there was NOTHING that can be done and to call the website where I purchased my stay (hotels.com) and get my money back. So I did, and the rep for hotels.com said I couldn’t get a refund because I was already at the property (but was never able to check in). Hotels.com rep said it didn’t matter, as long as I was at the property it’s considered to be checked in. 😡😡😡

We go on a lot of trips to music events and have stayed in many a hotel from super cheap to moderately expensive, this was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in to date! The staff (all of them) were pleasant and polite, the room was clean and fully stocked... even the hallways were clean! We will definitely be back for any events at the MPP or in anything in that area.
