booked for 5 days, checked out after 2 days . this place is in big need of refurbishment - very noise AC, cupboards are broken, towels were very old .... fridge was smelly , TV did not work ... reception unable to assist

The airco in the living room and the TV did not work initially. We reported it and it was resolved the next day. Hot water of the shower unit was a bit tempramental

To whom it might concern, We must raise our complain regarding the quality and service of Allamanda. 1. The air condition is not working well, it acting as a fan without colding. We request to fix the issue for 3 times, but there is no change. The room remains hot and impossible to stay in such summer weather. 2. The room lock is not working, we can't even go out without a room lock, and we need to stay in the room for a whole afternoon for them to fix the room lock. Its completely waste our time for such a short trip. The lock is yet to fix at this moment, and we are still remain in the room and they have no intention to change the room for us at all. 3. The telephone is not working as well. Times and times, we need to take 5 mins walk from one side and to another side of the building, and go down to the ground reception to seek help. 6. The response from the reception is always lazy and they could never addressing the issue immediately. We are very disappointed to recieve such unacceptable quality and service. We please invite Hotel.com to investigate this complaint properly. Best regards

good value

very good value. Chosen because of the greenery and proximity to Banyan tree golf club. Big king size bed, but mattress rather hard. Management needs to add a mattress topper to make it more comfortable.

Very roomy and modern

Very roomy and modern. Excellent breakfast nice pools. A bit far away from Patong if that is where you want to party. Would be good for families and golfers.

Excellent space and value

Haven't stayed at Allamanda for 13 years & returned as we were celebrating a friend's birthday and playing golf. Like the 2-bed suites for their space and in Bldg 2 for the direct access to the course's 17th hole. Good clean condition, all well-kept especially as the bathrooms had been modernised. Nothing fancy, but love the easy access with parking almost directly on your door step (we requested ground floor unit for ease of luggage & golf clubs). It's more set up as a services apartment with kitchen (electric hob, microwave oven, big fridge, toaster and kettle). Wish they'd be a bit more generous with bathroom soap & replenishing shower gel thought. In Sept low season managed a very reasonable us$50 per night for the suite.

Luxurious, but secluded

Great hotel, property is beautiful. You are in a huge resort near the beach, which is walking distance away. However, you are also very secluded from the rest of Phuket, with a 30 min ride to the city. Airport is 20 min away, so definitely closer than most places, but I wouldn't suggest it if Phuket city is where you want to spend the bulk of your time. That said, service was impeccable, and if you are the type who wants a luxury resort off to your own, this place is absolutely perfect (think Disney resort style).
