Several of the amenities were broken: ice machine, card to get into the room and curtains in my room. The front staff had to let us into our room every time because the card maker wasn’t working.

I had a horrible experience I was promised my car would be available at 5:30 am and it was not I had to wait for an hour an half to get my car which the front desk assured me it would be available. He also told me the restaurant and bar would be opened only to then tell me the next day they are closed due to an event. Why tell me all these things when none of them were true. At the beginning if my stay he double charged me as well and just laughed about it,

There is nothing good about this hotel! First, it is at the worst part of San Francisco although, they advertise it as " unique hotel" Second, there was no AC in the room but there was AC in the corridor! When i addressed the issue, i was told to "use a fan"! When i did the fan was noisier than the noise coming from the street. Third, we were first given a room that was already occupied! Fifth, and the worst was thar right in front of the hotel there was human excrements which was insane. I could go on am on but will summarize it with this: THE WORST HOTEL EVER! I will never go there again and frankly, i was overcharged and will request full refund! This should not be called "hotel"!

A fee was charged 25$ a night for daily "maintenance" but not once was our room turned over. We called for extra towels a few times. This property is on the edge of the homeless area therefore we could hear them playing loud music all hours of the night and had our window open because it has no air conditioning. Overall, the room, beds, and bathroom were clean and wifi worked well.

Staff was very kind and helpful! Offered water bottles and coffee. Mercedes was amazing!!! Room was clean and comfortable. Getting to the room was quite a feat though. The flight of stairs is soooo narrow and there aren't many guard rails. Would rather take the stairs than the scary elevator though. That thing was something else. Jerky, quick drops, no ding to alert you when you when you've made it to your floor - which I don't think is ADA accessible. Area around the hotel is so loud and kind of scary. We had a lovely view of tents, screaming people, fights etc. Which I know isn't the hotels fault, but just be aware if you want a quiet peaceful stay. Overall I don't know if I would stay again. Great environment indoors and kind staff, but there are quite a few drawbacks surrounding the hotel.

Room was tidy but received no cleaning services even though I put the tag on the door 2 days in a row. Even went to front desk and requested cleaning but no services received. FYI there was a homeless person who’s tent was 10 feet away from front door.

We didnt bother shopping the car. The hotel is in the worst area of San Francisco. They say it's in the Union Square district however, it's in Tenderloin. Definitely not a safe area.

The elevator is broken and there are 5 floors. We were on the 5th floor. There is no air conditioning. The rooms are much smaller than in the pictures (smallest hotel room I have ever been in). They ‘mistakenly’ over charged my credit card (they ask for a $200 ‘security deposit’ upon arrival- WATCH YOUR CARD!! I saw that they double charged me for what I had already paid for through Expedia!). And the worst part? Absolutely unsafe to step outside the door. There is a homeless encampment just to the left of the door, and if you go to the street corner on your right, you will find the most drugged out streets in SF. You will be heckled if you stand outside or walk down those sidewalks. It was scary.
