Quite a compact room but adequate for an overnight stay. Stylish decor, great shower, decent hairdryer and an ironing board in the room. Managed to park in the on site car park which was a bonus. Fab location for the bars and restaurants in the Montpelier district. Would recommend.

Fantastic hidden jem!

Fabulous hotel! Hidden jem! So stylish and modern with a really relaxed feel. Hotel was decorated so well beautiful and very on trend. Rooms are amazing! Very detailed and open clean and newly renovated. Restaurant is excellent from a wonderful modern breakfast to lunch and dinner! All very well priced. Staff were all excellent. Very much recommend

Lovely hotel, contemporary decor - the only disappointment was that there was no bar area to sit in on arrival.

The good things first. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located. Continental breakfast, which was included in our booking, was very good.

Confotable, convenient, cool but expensive

Nice comfortable, convenient room. Quite expensive, with no breakfast included. Enjoyed the beds and bathroom and coffee bags. Free water not placed in room until 2nd night which was disapointing. Fresh milk would have been nice, but no fridge in room which is not necessarily a bad thing.

More negatives than positives !!

The good bits : Nice breakfast room and good quality breakfast. Comfy bed and bedding. Very good shower. The bad bits : THERE IS NO BAR so no meeting point if you are going as a group. You can buy drinks from reception and drink them in your own rooms if you are sad enough. Only problem there is only one chair n the room though. That’s another problem, room is very small. Looks nice but painted very dark blue so feels even smaller and you can’t see a thing. Finally, apparently if you book through Expedia only includes continental breakfast and £14 for a full English. Car parking is extremely limited. Won’t be going back !

Great experience, first of all the booking wasn’t recorded but the receptionist ensured we all had a room to stay in at the price we paid. This hotel is stylish, and upmarket, the room was massive and clean, loved the decor

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this pub hotel. The staffs were polite and friendly and they treated their guests with courtesy and respect. The room was beautiful and quirky with two walk in closets, a shower room and a bath in the main bedroom. I had a really good night sleep. It was such a shame that I had to leave! Breakfast was another surprising excellent experience. Very large portion and very well cooked. Dining option wasn’t extensive but there was enough on the menu even for a fussy person like I am. Plenty of parking available to keep your car safe. Tip: Book the restaurant early if you intend to eat here.

Overall a good stay

Overall good experience. Room was quite small and quite noisy being so close to the main reception area / next to the stairs. Recommend requesting a room away from these areas.
