Great location, modern rooms, nice restaurant

The Canopy was right on top of the river and has hip design features and eco-amenities. I like the filtered water fountain on each floor and that they had a fridge. I also liked they have an outdoor bar and restaurant for covid-safety. I was disappointed they didn't have bicycles for borrow as advertised because that was the main reason I chose this place. I had to pay for a bicycle for the day instead.

Lovely

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. The restaurant, Domingo, was really delicious and right on the river walk.

The only issue we had was that we were not fold about the construction. If we were staying more than 1 night, it would not have been acceptable to have a room overlooking a construction site.

Great from start to finish!

We visited San Antonio for my 51st birthday and loved everything about this hotel and the city. It started out with decorations and a bottle of sparkling wine when we walked into our room - thank you! The room was beautiful and the bed oh-so-comfortable. We had drinks on the patio bar and they even gave us a birthday shot! We ate the restaurant twice and both times it was delicious! We did not utilize the valet parking but rather the Market Street garage nearby. All good! Also loved the text check-in's from staff. If we needed anything or had questions, they were there. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Mixed feelings- not for families.

Mixed feelings about this property. The hotel itself is beautiful. Very well decorated- rooms, lobby, restaurant- its all beautiful. The style was what sold me on booking this property. Unfortunately I dont think its good for a family stay. The drawbacks: Our room looked directly onto the construction for a building next door. I understand the construction isnt the hotel’s fault, but it was extremely noisy. The clerk at check-in even made the comment “hopefully the noise wont bother you”. Eh, it was bad. Especially traveling as a family with a child who still naps. Second, the bed is beyond firm. And pillows immediately go flat. I woke up the first morning and could not turn my head I was in so much pain. The good: Restaurant has nice outside area, probably the prettiest on the riverwalk. Dinner was great. Breakfast, which we decided to go to since we had such a great dinner, was lacking. We wanted a churro waffle, apparently a pretty popular menu choice, waiter told us they had one left And needed to order more so they were not serving it. Kinda stinks they dont make them or have plenty available. Otro bar is set up a few floors high and again is super beautiful, but no one under 21 can be out there. Location on the Riverwalk is nice, not in the middle of the hustle and bustle but not too far away either. My husband ended up talking to reception before we left and they acknowledged our concerns.

Great Place to Stay. 5+++ Stars

This hotel was EXCELLENT. Definitely better than I expected and exceeded my expectations for decor and cleanliness! Love the Nespresso coffee, AMAZINGLY comfortable bed and quiet, despite Fiesta parade and celebrating going on in the streets below. Will definitely stay here again!
