Wonderful little hotel in Dallas. Great location in uptown. Staff extremely friendly

The staff was very friendly and prompt with service. The hotel is beautiful outside and in the lobby, but the rooms are pretty dated. You can tell it’s old, from the drapes to the flooring. We stayed in the loft suite which was nice, but the stairs are steep and don’t necessarily look like they will hold up. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was great. Our only issue we had was there was a stain of some sort (it almost looked like old blood) on the thin drape that you close before the main drapes. We informed the front desk staff and they comped our valet parking and gave us coupons for a free breakfast up to $30, a lot of the meals were priced at around $30 give or take, and it didn’t sound like a lot of food came with them. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again just because it feels and smells old

I love thia hotel and stay here every time I go to Dallas. Best location, and great restaurants.

Beautiful location and facilities. Friendly staff. Comfortable and well-appointed room. Delicious room service meal! Their key card system was down so getting checked in to our room was a bit of a hassle. The staff was apologetic and helpful though. My only concern is that they were not on top of the sanitizing and mask-wearing.

We stayed at the Crescent Court due to the Ritz having a planned power outage and we expected a similar experience given they are both 5 star hotels. Unfortunately it was a bit disappointing. We stayed in a large suite and it was not cleaned properly when we arrived as there had clearly been a party there previously and this is even more concerning during a pandemic. Crumbs were plainly visible on the wooden floor and the carpeting. Feathers, some cheese puffs, and dirt were also plainly obvious on the floors. We discussed this with the head of housekeeping and someone came shortly and supposedly cleaned the room but most of it still was there... crumbs all over the floor, pieces of food, cheese poofs, etc. We had even pulled out the coffee table to make it obvious where to clean. We went down to the head of housekeeping and showed them the pictures and they were horrified. What surprised me is they didn’t offer to do anything other than clean the room. With a hotel of this caliber I would have expected for a night to be comped or for us to be upgraded to a larger suite due to such an error. None of this was offered but the room was properly cleaned the final go round. The hotel service other than that was excellent. It’s in a nice location and has plenty of walkable restaurants with outdoor seating options.

The room was beautiful! Very clean! Very nice managers. You do have to pay for incidentals up front.
