It's basic but clean. The decor is dated though for the bargain price what do you expect? Overall the bed was moderately comfortable, a bit hard but that was ok. Tea and coffee making equipment in the room and was restocked each day. Only major gripe was there was only 1 double socket in the room on the other side to the bed so I had to purchase a long extension cable to plug my phones in. If you want somewhere to lay your head that's cheap and clean it's great.

On arrival very curtious welcome by staff. It was a welcome rest after 4 hours in the car. Plenty of tea and coffee beverages. Bed very comfortable and plenty of room for myself, the wife and daughter. The only fault was the shower head had seen better days would'nt spay properly due to previous occupant must have forcedly pulled it off wall and managed to re-attach but it didn't have any pressure due to it leaking, the bath was fine for wife. Plenty of choice nearby for food even if a little expensive but that's usually.

The hotel is situated on the services which are plagued with drug addicts begging for money to feed their habits. All the staff are aware of this but nothing is done. Vehicles are not secure in the car park which uses the same spaces as the services. The hotel itself is an over with no air conditioning or air flow. There is a strong smell of stale old hot air, the corridors have air fresheners to try mask the smell but this doesnt help and adds to the pungent mix. The rooms are even worse and the smell is so overpowering. The smell does not go even after being in the room for an hour with the window open. The beds are soft and have broken mattresses that don’t appear to have been changed in 20 years +. There are only 6 fans for more than 20 rooms which does not take any heat away. The rooms have not seen a deep clean in years.

Handy location. Allows dogs - so for that we love Days Inn! Could do with a freshen up / deep clean though...
