Got a phone call 10 minutes before check in to ask they made a mistake and they didn’t have a room for us. They were going to find us another room but we worked everything around being there not knowing the area at all. Very disappointed

On the surface looks ok, but fridge dirty, old ice cream and papers stuck to freezer, I left them a note to clean it, bathroom floor was dirty and it smelt of mould, bed was comfy, but no powerpoints in the room, no access to wifi, front door was stuck and warped, no lifts to upstairs areas, no glasses in the room we had to go downstairs and ask for them, receptionist was nice, we had been on the road 2 weeks, this was actually the worst of all the motels we stayed at, and overpriced considering lack of amenities and cleanliness . We have family in Ballarat, but will not stay here again on our next visit.

The room was comfortable, but did not live up to expectations of a 2 bedroom plus living room. It is really one motel room with another bedroom to the side. The bathroom did not match pictures on the website at all. It was broken and shabby. I’m not sure how this room was deluxe or superior.

The reception person was first-rate. Great problem-solver and tried to look after guests. Cobwebs in the window frames in the bathroom. Hot water tap was dripping continuously - wasting water and energy. Rooms very spacious and beds comfortable.

Staff were very helpful. The rooms and bed were comfortable but two of the four doors in the unit would not or were hard to close, [need maintenance]

All good except for the lat arrival of receptionist on Sunday morning

Pool is great, clean and big rooms. Need more.bowls and cups, we had four stayong but only one cup and bowl.

Good location, close to Sovereign Hill and local shops. However there were no towels in our room, the aircon didn’t work, TV only worked on 2 channels, and there was only one coffee cup provided for a two person stay.

We arrived late for check in and despite we called to advice they did not leave any instructions how to check in. After waiting more than 30 minutes outside the office we started knocking on the windows of the apartment attached to the reception and finally a guy opened the reception and gave us the keys. Very disappointing.

Arrived at Reception, not many words exchanged. Room appeared clean but noticed dated furniture and appliances, surface rust on fridge (two odd sized glasses, no free bottled water as stated), Restaurant not in use ('For Lease' sign on front of building). Left early morning (slept in bed and used toilet). Happy to drive straight home (five hour drive)!
