Hotel was very nice and scenic. Loved the streaming services and bathroom amenities and setup. However, room 102 is very noisy as is probably 101. It sounded like someone left a large vacuum running outside our door the entire stay. At first I thought it was construction, but it never shut off. Very annoying. Also, the hot water doesnt get very hot in the shower. Will not stay here in the colder weather, and not sure about the summer either. Some people like hotter water.

Relaxing stay on a long trip!

We loved this hotel and the only regret was that we weren't able to stay more than one night. Our room was very comfortable and we were refreshed and relaxed the next day. It's recently opened, and as nice as it is now, when the rest of the grounds and extras are completed it will be amazing! One small complication was that part of the confirmation between Hotels.com and the hotel didn't get sent, so the hotel wasn't notified in order to email our check-in info. This hotel doesn't have a front desk, so it's difficult to check-in without that info. Luckily we got there late afternoon and the owner was around to answer the phone and help us. He was really nice!

Avoid at all cost.

We got a basement room for $200 per night. Ownership would not refund (only a credit was offered) even though they claimed they could rebook the room right away. No hot water. The problem continued after complaint. We showered in cold water the entire weekend. Old bathroom with tiles from the 50s. Plastic shower stand as seen in basement rooms. The window was facing a parking lot and we had to keep our cheap/hard to operate shades closed at all times making for a dark room. Shame on the website for offering this type of property for $200 per night.

Nice, could be nicer.

It’s a quaint and unique place that we enjoyed. Our room was good except for some previous guests hair all over the white comforter. An upgraded breakfast area would be nice as well.

Room 201, not great

The restaurant was 5 star!!! However our room 201 was not comfortable at all. The AC did not work. And backed onto a common patio. We had a smoker right outside our bedroom window when we woke up and opened our curtain looking right onto the guests there. And the road noise was loud. It is unfortunate because everything else is great. I would recommend room 201 be turned into an office. Since the room also shared a common wall which turned out to be the hotels restroom! Otherwise/ grounds are gorgeous, restaurant staff very friendly.

Clean and convenient for our purposes. Not quiet. Our room was below the kitchen. Noisy during the day and evening. Ok in the morning. Not very private either.
