Excellent 2 night stay at the Spencer. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and did all they could for you given the current conditions. Our balcony view of the liffy on the very top floor was incredible. Very good location and in a very nice area. Would highly recommend

Everything was great. Especially staff at reception couldn't be any nicer. Very clean.

As consumers, my wife and I upgraded our room which had a beautiful view as well as we paid in advance for breakfast, the construction to the unit next door was a noise I could have went with out for our three day stay, management had a waitress come to our room requesting payment for one soda even after I tried to pay at breakfast, there were plenty of pleasant personnel at front desk but one female that was not as friendly or approachable. There are several issues we have with the stay which were no fault of the Spencer due to quarantine but at the same time feel as if Americans were welcome at times.

Our room was met by a large barrier saying construction site do not enter and a very strong smell of paint. TV in a clearly renovated room was not working. Went to the bar for drinks and glasses were either chipped or still dirty. Lipstick stains etc. Not what you expect from a 4 star hotel

It was a beautiful place to stay. Lovely friendly staff. Food and drink was great. Bedroom and swimming pool freezing cold

Our room was in the middle of a floor which was being renovated. Carpets in lobby were dirty, tools and building materials lying about. Lots of noise while workmen were working. Left room to go out exploring Dublin at 8am, came back at 4pm and still not had our room cleaned. Had to request additional towels and then made our own bed. Location and staff good.

Staff at check in were lovely. Hotel is in a good location and the room was very quiet despite the busy road outside.

The bonus of this hotel is the staff. They are very nice, always smiling and helpful. Special thanks to Lenka at the reception who deserve a medal for being the best receptionist ever! When we checked-in, she gave us all the addresses for the best food to eat, things to see and had a little chat with us every time she saw us. This hotel is everything you would expect. They have a health center, a high-standing restaurant, room-service AND their breakfast is amazing. (They have a pancake machine!!) they also have vegan and gluten-free options, which was much appreciated. The only negative point is that we found the bathroom a bit cold in temperature and the lack of toilet brush quite inconvenient. Other than that, we will definitely be coming back!
