Very nice property with excellent service and very accommodating staff. Room are nice and clean, but slightly dated. Breakfast buffet is small but good.

Excellent location close to Metro and Shopping/Restaurants. Also a reasonable walk to Lodhi gardens. I chose this hotel for the location but the hotel itself is comfortable. Some of the rooms are old and there are some structural issues. For example our room was small and somewhat damp and there was a sewage smell in the bathroom. The housekeeping worked hard to make things comfortable and when I requested a heater I was given one which improved the climate of the room. The staff are very nice and very helpful. Lakshmi and Banty were very helpful.

Nice location. Breakfast was very good. The room was large and clean. If you like an old fashioned style hotel with class then this is for you. The room was heated well in Late Dec. 2019. The staff was very professional. I had no complaints for my stay.

Nice facility with extra large rooms, comfortable beds, and warm staff. Bathrooms a bit dated but perfectly adequate for the purpose. Very fast room service with reasonably-priced options when you just want a little something to eat at odd hours. Nice coffee shop at entrance if you need a quick cup to go.

It's a reconditioned historic hotel. Less modern than photos show. But room was very spacious, restaurant was very good, masseuse gave great deep-tissue massages. We could safely walk around the neighborhood. And the lovely middle-aged man who cleaned our room was most attentive and friendly.

It’s a has been hotel that is run down and kept badly except for the lobby which is barely acceptable, the rooms are dirty, the towels are musty and the staff is poor. Never staying here again.

The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. My suite was gorgeous as is the property. I would never stay anywhere else in Dehli.

Hospitality service in India is unlike any where else in the world. The staff at the Taj Ambassador were very polite and helpful. The food and room service were brilliant. The cleaning staff were very polite and mindful of our privacy. I cannot fault a single member of the staff. But the property has declined. Granted we had a standard, no-frills room but I didn't expect it to be old and grimy. The shower faucet was rusted and a bit unkempt. The bathroom could've used a good scrubbing. The carpets in the corridors were musty and smelled oddly like carpet wax and dust. The pillows were definitely not fresh, the towels and robe in our room were tattered and stained.
