Cozy resort, super friendly staff. Comfortable bed, fabulous view from our room. Water taxi to Stocking Island was a fun little trip, included in our stay. Food was good. Exuma is incredibly beautiful and we enjoyed driving from one end of the island to the other.

This resort met all of our desires for quiet and peaceful relaxation. The remote location was wonderful, the weather was wonderful, the beach was wonderful, and the water was outstanding. Any minor issues were far outweighed by the benefits of this escape location. We loved the Bahamas, and Peace and Plenty helped us enjoy our time. Thank You.

The check-in was a disaster!!!! We arrived about noon. They had no record of our reservation. I produced a copy of the Expedia email with verification, a copy of my credit card statement saying we paid. No joy!!! The lady at the front desk was pleasant but firm!! We would need to rebook a new reservation to have a room!!! She suggested we have lunch while she worked on it!! 3 hours later, she checked with her manager only to find out all was OK. And she checked us in on the original booking!!!! No need to book a second booking!! Something was broke, and you need to fix it!! We smoked our entire first day in the Bahamas straightening this out. The rest of the stay was enjoyable!!!

Good

It is all a matter of expectations. The facility is good, but a bit dated. The rooms (beds) are very comfortable. Meals on the island are hard to come by, and service is slow (average dinner was about 2 1/2 hours plus, which is too long with children).

Most poorly organised hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

Let me start by saying the majority of staff are great- especially the girls at the beach bar who we loved & the boat captains. However, some reception staff were utterly useless. We were first put in a room that has wet/damp sheets, mould on the walls& was filthy. I’m asthmatic & could not sleep here. We complained immediately - told no othwr rooms despite the Hotel being dead. We complained again at bedtime & we were moved rooms at 11pm. The girl who did so Just didn’t care and kept telling us to ask someone else tomorrow. This was a running theme throughout the week! The new room was better but the toilet gushed out water & the balcony was filthy. After 3 days we were finally given the managers email& she tried her best to make amends for us. We had to book new flights (covid related)& then we’re told the room WASNT available- only an expensive suite.the next day there was another room (once I mentioned going elsewhere)& the correct rate honoured. We were told something different every day & it was tiresome & wasted so much of our time away. The bartender had to be found, never anyone on the pool bar & we always had to wait in long lines for beach towels. One receptionist simply walked away & disappeared for 10 mins whilst I was talking to her. Incredibly rude & just bizarre service. The whole place needs some tlc &(some) reception staff need re training. The beach club is the saving grace!

The BEST thing about Peace and Plenty is the staff. Everyone is very pleasant and friendly. They absolutely make the resort a lovely place to be. Special shout out to Jevaughn in the bar as he was particularly helpful! My room (221) was somewhat lacking. The table was rusting, the electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work, the AC ran either freezing or warm (no middle ground), and the safe did not work. I could not get the TV to turn on, but that was ok as I was not there to watch TV. Overall, the room was disappointing. I think I may have been given the worst room because I booked via Expedia, because I saw some of the other rooms and they were nicer. Bottom line: avoid room 221.

Lovely Stay

Maybe the restaurant could use a little updating? Enjoyed the room and room cleanliness. Housekeeping were extremely good and friendly.

Great location and staff! Wonderful stay. Great pool area and bar (Bartender JeVaughn 👍). And access to beach club in Stocking Island is fantastic (Thanks Gavin!). Food was excellent as well. Would go back any time! Also convenient to local area.
