The Beatrice

The Beatrice is an oasis of elegance on Westminster Street. Its serene understated elegance, warmt welcome and dazzling decor (including mesmerizing mosaic of The Beatrice's owner's mother, recently deceased, with an infectious smile and an aura of joy. It is as if the grand lady is watching over guests and staff alike. Easy check-in; Sidney (sp?) was charming, sincere. In moments, room 310 door. A bright hallway led us to cheerful, indulgently welcoming bedroom with soft white sheets and pillows. Minimalist bathroom, marble floored, white tile walls, sleek shower, specialty showerhead and 'wand,' towel warming bar, Dyson hairdryer, environmentally sensitive bath amenities (whopping lemony scents really stays with you!). Towels thirsty, soft. Showering with mist setting like soft summer rain. Bring own coffee pod, cream for the in-room-Nespresso, Carnation creamer, coffee blend not good. Starbucks two-minutes away. We had old fashioneds in the lobby followed by the most indulgent mousse au Chocolat, thanks to the statuesque and delightful Devan Bowie from Bellini! Never have we seen such a generous serving worth twice the price ($15), three soft chocolate pillows of the deepest, darkest rich chocolate. Excellent night's rest and we had an amazing first stay, The Beatrice is the most discerning hotel in Providence. Room was on the small side, but handsome and the amenities were truly thoughtful! We'll be back!

Dyson hair dryer and heated seat

Nice in-room amenities and a very comfortable bed. Pamper yourself with a heated toilet seat and bidet attachment.

My only negative comment is that it was loud at night. You could hear doors closing and the neighboring room pretty loudly.

Love this hotel!

We loved staying at the Beatrice. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and they looked sharp in their blue suits! I loved how everything was modernized with QR codes for the wifi information and being able to text the front desk for anything we needed! What? That’s amazing and so 2022. The room had a bidet toilet with a heated seat, something we didn’t realize we were missing until we tried it, haha! We walked to a local speakeasy for a comedy show and came back to the Bellini on the first floor to have a late dinner. The vibe was so nice hanging out at the bar with the excellent bartender. We don’t get out without the kids much and this stay was so enjoyable and comfortable. It was just what we needed for a classy night out!

The staff was very kind and gracious, giving us suggestions as to where we should go for dinner and what to do around the city. Kevin at the front desk was especially helpful during our stay, from delivering our outside food delivery to our room, providing utensils that we needed at the last minute, to just making our post-wedding getaway feel relaxing and enjoyable. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back to The Beatrice later this year.

We loved how clean it was, the guy at the front desk was so kind. Love the uniforms. What I didn’t like was that there wasnt a city view like they showed in the picture, it was a garage view instead

My daughter and I came into the city for one night to see a show at PPAC. We were delighted by the luxury touches of the room and all members of the staff were helpful.
