Grime and Crime

This was the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. There was grime on all exterior walls, piles of trash in every corner. The ice machine was broken and covered with dust. The rooms themselves were clean but the exterior needs major cleaning. First night was a Saturday and half the place partied. Someone kept k ocking on our door at 2 am. They would knock. Then hide around the corner out of sight so all you saw was an arm. Tne TV remote never worked although we exchanged it twice.Half the lights in the room and the microwave would not come on. First night there was no hot water. This was fixed but the temperature was then scalding, a future injury lawsuit awaits unless adjusted. The beds were comfortable but my husband awoke one morning with a large spider bite. We used to love Super 8s but never again.

My stay was for a wrestling tournament so needless to say, the stay there served it's purpose. Check in was quick and easy except for that they gave my reserved room to someone else. Lucky for me, the young lady at the check in was great and took it upon herself to physically go and check if other rooms were available. She found a room that was not on her list and was able to accommodate me.

Never again.

The tub, sink,walls and mirror were stained. There were screws sticking out of the walls. The tv stopped working. The door looked like someone had tried breaking in at some point so it was hard to open from the outside but did not seal at all when closed. The peep hole has been filled with something so it could not be used. There was no water presser. I'm 5'4 and stood taller than the shower head. I was with a handicap person and they put us on the top floor. They had an elevator that smelled terrible and the floor of it was bubbled. It made hissing and scraping noise when it ran which concerned me that it would break down while we were on it. The ice machine on our floor was torn apart and covered in dust and was right next to the elevator. They advertised breakfast on the website but when I arrived the lobby was shut off to guests.

First time using hotel.com was easy, economical and everything went smoothly. Nice and comfortable super 8 accommodations.
