We always go to RIU resorts with some expectations and they exceeded our expectations again. The front desk team made us comfortable as soon as we arrived there. They have games and activities planned throughout the day. The kids center Riuland also is open for limited hours but they made sure kids are busy in activities. The pirate hat and treasure hunt, obstacle race was hit with the kids. They even had Santa giving out bags to the kids on xmas. Food is good but lunch menu gets repetitive, Xmas eve dinner was grand and they had loads of desserts. Beach is also nice one and we got to do the windsurfing for couple of days. Stephanie from entertainment team is so much fun and she made sure i burn off all those excessive calories with her fun classes.

The staff and service was wonderful, everyone was very attentive and happy to service you. I love to proximity to the beach and the 3 pools were great.

To start, the hotel does not have an elevator. It is not enclosed and has no A/c through the hallways. All buildings are 3 floors. 3 days before I checked in I called the hotel and asked them to please give me a room on the firat floor. When we checked in the room was on the 3rd floor and the beds were not seperated. The A/C system does not seem to be the best as it is not cool enough. They gave us a second room on the second day which was on the first floor. When we went to the room the keys were not activated. Please keep in mind the lobby is not near by. I must day the servers. Restaurant staff, cleaning crew, bar tenders are extremely nice and friendly. Such great attitudes. The front desk however is not so great. After all the inconvenience at the beginning when I checked out they were rushing me because I was 20 min late. Also, the food is not so great.

Beautiful resort, great food, great location. Fernando and Erick were great for entertainment, always had fun activities going throughout the day. Would have been nice to have a concierge desk rather then Expedia bookings only.

Helpful staff, walkable location to Playa Del Carmen, and extremely clean. Room: Initially, I was booked a room in building four. I am a light sleeper and could not sleep due to the noise from the stage. They moved me to a room in building eight by the pool and I had no more noise issues. Food: Plenty of choices. I ate at all the restaurants at least once. The steakhouse and Mexican were my favorites. Walkable: From the resort it is only a half an hour walk to downtown Playa Del Carmen. A taxi from the resort to the same area is around 150 pesos. The walk is an easy one to do being mostly flat and all on sidewalks. Covid: The property is extremely clean. Every moment of the day it is being clean and sanitized. Due to the hotel being under capacity at the moment it was easy to distance from other guests. This was my first all inclusive resort. I was very impressed and would like to stay at a Riu property again.

Great All Inclusive. Staff was friendly, food was good, outdoor theatre was a nice touch compared to other Resorts. Beach is roomy and great with palm trees for shade.

Las instalaciones muy lindas , más el servicio muy pobre los empleados muy desatentos las comidas ok . Más los servicios de restaurantes muy lentos . No actividades casino , bar muy malos licores muy baratos , realmente una esperiencia no muy agradable

Good size not to big across street from shopping food was the best I have experianced over all in a Mexico resort
