I do realize covid is still a big concern so there are multiple factors of why my experience wasn't 5 star worthy. I have a great time anywhere. I enjoyed the resort. The ocean room was spacious, and a bit dated but I'm a minimalist and I am getting my money's worth so I wasn't expecting $300 a night quality experience. Its great for a getaway on a budget with the family.

Food was trouble. You have no choice. It is the only all inclusive in area. No entertainment.

At best by US standards this is One Star property. Very unfriendly rude staff. All inclusive is basically a buffet style dining. Property and rooms need a major upgrade.

This is the first time I’ve been back to this resort since Covid started. There only complaint we really had was the variety of food at the buffet, but even with that being said there was still plenty to choose from and it was delicious. I also liked that the dress standard for the main buffet was changed from my last visit, no more wet bathing suits and nothing but a towel on lol. We will definitely be back next winter!!!

My experience was very nice, excellent customer service, the hotel very clean the food was good, the entertainment with animation was good , shows in the evening dancing group excellent, Luz , and Rolfi made my stay in casa marina wonderful.

The property is beautiful and has perfect location. Everything else is bad. Staff treat guests with contempt and rudeness. They are dismissive and neglectful. The hotel charges for wifi that you can only use in public areas!! The local restaurants provide free wifi! One key per room even with double occupancy is ridiculous! Staff reprimanded guests for rules nobody bothered to tell you about. Getting dinner reservations was an ordeal and when you finally get to the restaurant the staff are annoyed and try to rush you out. The staff seem miserable and bothered. I have worked in hotels in Jamaica, USA. I travel a lot and have worked in hotels in Jamaica, USA, London and Dubai and I have never seen anything like this. I spend a lot of time in DR and this is by far the worst experience I have had anywhere. I will never ever even think of going back to Casa Marina even if it is a free stay. Never!!
