Great central location and amazing team of employees; thereafter very disappointing. Smallest family room we have ever stayed in: once the sofa bed was out, there was no room to access the side of the double bed, so had to crawl in from the bottom. The shower floor and walls were covered with black mould and the bathroom was damp due to the lack of ventilation. Such a shame, as every encounter with a member of staff was professional, friendly and super helpful. This hotel is in dire need of a renovation - certainly on the 4th floor.

I really enjoyed my stay, couldn’t fault the Holiday Inn York Central. Excellent customer service from reception man!

I don’t know anything about this hotel as I didn’t get the chance to stay there as my trio was cancelled due to Covid but they still took the full payment and refused a refund. Despite giving them 4 months notice. So for that I give them 0/10 for ripping me off.

Room fairly basic and walls very thin. You can hear people talked and moving about next door and upstairs

Great short break . Our second stay at this hotel in 12 months !! Didn’t disappoint as before , all good, felt safe , and good standards of cleanliness considering COVID 19 made us a bit cautious about booking this trip!! Great position too short walk to centre of York 👍 & lovely staff on reception 😊

The hotel was spotless and the staff couldn’t do more to help. Breakfast was lovely too.

Excellent weekend in York. Hotel position is very good and all the staff were superb. Special mention to Kate for directing me to the car park and being super friendly

Staff were excellent at reception and in particular breakfast staff as my son has dietary needs. Only criticism wouldbe is size of beds for a double felt very small . Everything else great
