Cute place. Needs some work but they are working on it! We didn’t have a door handle on our back door. Had to stick out finger in the hole.

Quaint Alpine Inn

Under new ownership. They were renovating at the time of our stay. I love the quaintness of the building, and the grounds are lovely, next to a river and a covered bridge on the property. My granddaughter liked the playground area. Could use a little TLC, which they seem to be working on, but our stay was quiet and the service was great.

Very charming and friendly stay!

I genuinely cannot wait to stay here again. The property was adorable. My room was spacious and clean, and had some nice touches I hadn't found at similarly priced places on my road trip - a bathtub, robes, a deck. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe. The staff were super helpful and friendly; on top of just regularly nice customer service, I arrived late and they recommended a great restaurant to get food delivered from. I also loved that I could order breakfast the night before and pick it up in the morning. I will be back!

Very nice accommodations in Stowe

Well-maintained accommodations at a reasonable price for the Stowe area. Spacious, clean, quiet room with comfortable bed and nice amenities. Lighting in room could have been better. Good, hot breakfast, although no fruit. Very pleasant attendants at check-in and check-out.

One night stay

Large room, friendly staff, great breakfast and afternoon snack with cheese and crackers and yummy cookies and beverages. Very clean bathroom and beds.

Spacious rooms, easy access to parking lot, comfortable bed, clean in often used areas but corners and cabinet tops not so good. Nice, big bathtub. Hot tubs outside but we didn't try them. Great, hot breakfast. The room was shabby as far as peeling wallpaper, ceiling water damage and vanities not in best shape. The carpeting is in very bad condition with stains and rips. But all was clean where you really needed it to be clean. I would stay here again as it was very convenient to skiing at Stowe and shopping in town plus the excellent breakfast.

This property is absolutely and completely run down, carpets are filthy and torn, paint falling off the walls, doors broken, light fixtures broken, bathroom was dirty, rusty-had mold on shower walls. The entire Inn was like a sauna, couldn't sleep because it was so hot, had to open all the windows. The current owners should be ashamed of themselves. The property does have great potential because the concept is great, and has a great location to the mountain. I hope the new owners spend some time cleaning, fixing, and updating the mess that was left to them. The staff doesn't really care anymore and gives you the runaround. The few positives: location and the breakfast was decent. No way is this a 4.1 star/5, in the current shape, the max is a 2/5.

Rooms were spacious, TV allowed streaming, and distance to slopes was good, but carpeting was threadbare and advertised fitness room was closed. No adjustment was offered for lack of advertised amenity.
