We had a wonderful time because we were with family. Making the reservations are confusing; be sure to note whether you have access to all of the hotel amenities, or not. Also, bring all of your own coffee, etc, it's not provided. The units are very pretty, but they seemed to have used the cheapest supplies to remodel. ( cabinets, bathroom fixtures, sink faucets, etc). Being previous guests, we were disappointed that all of the same stores, etc, are not open. Between the hurricane a few years ago, and Covid, it's understandable. The cost per night still remains high, though, so it is what it is these days. We hope that Hawk's Cay will be around for years to come.

Check in was a nightmare. They gave me the wrong room number twice.

Even though we rented an "Economy" villa and the Hawks cay ststes that it is not "Up to their" customary standards, the unit was filthy, carpets stained, no trash pick-up, it is a privately owned unit the Hawks sublets, but still no excuse. This units should have been dropped from their pool until it was cleaned and refreshed. I'll spend my money elsewhere next time.

Stayed 6 nights, loved it other then some amenities not available and they wouldn’t clean our room even once over the 6 night stay.

The resort is beautiful!! Most of the staff is very friendly. However, they didn’t check us in until 6:00 pm and the front desk staff was very rude. It was my daughters 21st and we had to cancel our 7:00 dinner reservation due to our room not being ready and 4 girls having to shower. Our villa was beautiful but they gave us minimal towels and the kitchen cabinet was broken. One of the TVs was also broken and they never fixed it like they said they would. They don’t offer housekeeping and never followed up to see if anything else was needed. For the amount of money this was very disappointing. They also didn’t have any coffee or water bottles in the Villa which even a standard hotel offers. I let them know all of these things and they pretty much just shrugged Again, gorgeous property and a fun time.

The service was wonderful and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

My wife is a germaphobe. She was already skeptical about staying here because it is an old building but has been newly renovated, so we called and were reassured that the place was worthy of staying there from Louisiana, celebrating our 20th Anniversary. To our disappointment, there were stains on the carpet as we walked to our room that turned my wife off! While I thought the place wasn't bad and was comparable with the wonderful pics on the website, the stains ruined everything. My wife asked to check out and I had to find a different resort in the keys to recoup our experience! I was very upset with that and it was a great inconvenience as holds on the credit card took days to be released. I'm thinking, is it too much to get a steam cleaner and clean those stains up???

Met and exceeded expectations. Very relaxing and welcoming property

The property itself is nice, a majority of the staff were friendly, we stayed in a villa which was spacious and great views, the condition of the villa was not that great, def needs update and there we’re also roaches in our kitchen. They did nothing to rectify that. Amenities were limited due to covid but we enjoyed most of our time at the main resort pool. We were hoping to kayak in the lagoon but we were told they were all broken and sent for repair. If we decide to stay again we sincerely hope they work on the interior of the villas so our experience is better than this one.

The staff goes above and beyond, truly a 5 star resort!!
