Very disappointing stay.

Well i got a handicap room for one. Rather that went to someone who was handicapped. The room was hot as heck when i got there and didnt cooldown till morning. Their american continetal breakfast was lack luster and the offering was like staying in a 70 dollar motel. Stayed in a la quinta in nashville that was a little cheaper and their breakfast was awesome. Great selection. Hot scrambled egg, sasuage, hasbrowns, big waffle maker to make a waffle if you want and more. Compared to laquinta in nashville, the fairfield in columbus was very disppointing. Mentioned to the person at checkout my issues and he tried offering me a bottle of water. Then tells me if the ac is below 68 they freeze. What a bs answer. I had my nashville hotel room at 66 and it was very cool how i like it. What a slap in the face to be offered just a bottle of water. I will never stay at this one again. Been to different fairfields before with better experiences Also no room if you are pulling a trailer to park either.

They hotel and service was fine but we reserved a suite and got a regular room. They wouldn’t give us a discounted rate because we booked on hotels.com.

Family visit in the area

Vary nice stay. Clean comfy. Staff was vantastic they went out of their way for us Would always recommend staying here

Good stay but could be better

The facility is in a real close to the OSU and the staff is friendly, but the facility could be better managed. Our room is clean and quiet, but the bathroom is smelly. We complained to the staff and a maintenance staff brought a bottle of deodorant spray and said sorry he could be able to do anything else. It seems the problem was resulting from the somewhat mulfunctioning a/c due to the clogged condensation drain. I can hear the water splashing inside the a/c unit when it runs the cooling cycle.

The bed was a little lumpy and not very comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was decent. There are many restaurants nearby.

Great hotel close to campus

We were in town for a graduation & were able to get a really nice room the night before at a decent rate. We loved the room & the bed was so comfortable. The lady at the front desk when we checked in was super nice. Waffles were awesome.

Thoughtful staff and pool open late

At 10pm found this Fairfield Inn with pool & hot tub that stayed open for use until 11. That was great news for us road-weary travelers. Check-in was quick and friendly. Were given pool towels at check-in just in case there weren’t any at the pool. So thoughtful! Clean room. Super comfy bed & pillows.

It was Graduation weekend, and the staff went above and beyond by running shuttle buses to and from the venue, hung balloons and decor, and we even had Ohio State logo key cards! Wonderful and helpful staff.
