Just returned tonight from a 6 night stay. Do not waste your money here! Go somewhere else. Breakfast every morning was over capacity so they sat us in the patio area where they served us cold breakfast everyday. All the dinners are next to impossible to book for a decent time. They are missing lots of ingredient’s for the food where the staff tells you they are out of the item even tho it’s on the menu. They need to hire more staff. I had 2 rooms and they split my family up on opposite ends of the resort. They advertise both properties on one side but you don’t get all the amenities. It was truly disappointing. It’s a severely mis managed property. Staff was nice. Save yourself from having a bad vacation like me and go elsewhere. I been all up and down the Mexican RIviera staying at different resorts and this was the worst resort we stayed at.

Property is under construction My view was construction an lot's of noise and dust because of the construction . I Did get moved to a other room, but because I demanded to be moved no help on their part.The front desk manager's need to work on their customer service they did not have a welcoming attitude. And did not come and talk to me directly about the problem I was having.The front desk employee had to go back and forth and she was like 3ft away it' was ridiculous. Overall I will not be coming back .

We booked originally with Charisma who is apparently the official booking agency for the property. Booked 2 rooms for a week after being told rooms were confirmed they then told us one of the rooms could only be booked for 6 days. I had to book the 7th nite on Expedia. We get there and everything they told us that was accessible wasn't. The rock wall, skate park, ropes course were inaccessible. Checkin was a disaster. We were never told you had to make a reservation for Dinner? The reservation person said there system was down and to use the App which wouldn't let you make a reservation for over 5 people. We had 9 in our party. So by the time we could get a reservation there were no times except at 10pm. That doesn't work for 5 kids and they had no answer. The food was not good. There was mold on the shower walls.There were exposed wires all over the place near the pool pretty sure thats a fire hazard. The hotel appeared to be way over occupied. There was no where to sit at the pool or beach. The staff were not very helpful. The covid policies were ridiculous and outdated. The Covid testing was absolutely terrible and took way too long. Bring your own test much cheaper and easier. To top it all off they said because we booked the last nite on Expedia which is their fault to begin with we had to pay the difference in room rates and they would not let us leave the property until we did. Almost made us miss our flight. I am going to complain to Hard Rock Hotels.

Resort beautiful and staff and service amazing. Unfortunately construction ongoing so access to beach not so easy. Fun shows in the evenings but sound not great in cavernous rooms which was surprising for a Hard Rock. Enjoyed the music everywhere. Food was great in all the restaurants and at the buffets. Only a limited quantity availability of left handed guitars.

Good Property. Buffett food is meh but the restaurants had great food for the ones that were available. Their restaurant reservations are horrible

Great stay at the property for our family of 5, staying on the Hacienda side. What we really enjoyed: - the food: be it at the buffet (Market) or in most of the other restaurants, the food was usually very good. Extra stars for the French one. - good choice of alcohols in general - the rooms: because this property is part of the VIP program, and i'm Gold status, we were eligible for a room upgrade. After a bit of hassle (you need to involve Expedia), we got a nice upgrade to a Sky Terrace suite with an Ocean View and a jettub on the roof. - the pools and entertainement around the pool. The pool temperature was perfect for warm weather - the waterpark: the slides are very nice, even for adults. - the overall setup of the property: very well maintained grounds, great lobby area - most of the night shows at the theater: we had a good time with most shows we saw. - live music shows: there were 2 very good ones in the adult section, the bands doing the tributes were great (Beatles and Queen tributes) - 2 rapid COVID tests included per room What could be better: - covid tests: they screwed up tests for 2 people in our party. They tried to help us, but in the end, failed, and we never got valid tests for 2 people from the property. - missing key information on Expedia about closures: Woodward (skatepark) is closed for good. Escalation wall is temporarily closed. Different areas of the adult section are closed/under renovation. I suspect the current rebates are related to that.
