Our in room dining breakfast was horrible! It arrived cold, incorrect coffees. When notified at reception replacements were ordered but never arrived. Fluffy pancakes were flat and didn't receive all condiments offered in meal. Still charged for the coffees that never arrived. Really put a downer on our Anniversary night out!

New hotel recently opened. Still appears to have teething problems. Stayed 2 nights as a special occasion. Visited the restaurant for breakfast 1st day & on finishing breakfast requested a 2nd coffee Waited 15 minutes but didn’t appear. Asked one for the waiting staff about it never seen again.Visited the restaurant a 2nd time for breakfast- was busy. We were seated quickly & then forgotten. Took 20 minutes to try and get a staff member to take our orders & after another 40 minutes by which time the restaurant had emptied, trying to get a staff member to follow up on it. Didn’t think it should take an hour to get breakfast. We didn’t seem to be the only people with this problem. There were plenty of staff but not much direction. All the staff we spoke to were all very friendly. The executive lounge was very good. The pool was good but possibly a little small for the hotel as it became a little crowded in the afternoon & there were only 12 - 15 people there. Rooms were very good although the pillow selection needs reviewing. All the pillows in the room ranged from medium to hard. Contacted housekeeping for a soft pillow, but seemed to get more of the same - maybe because it’s a new hotel and they are still adjusting. Overall it was an ok stay & would hope that it would get better as things settle down.

This is a first class hotel in the heart of Adelaide and is truly worth the visit. Friendly staff. Wonderful rooms with very comfortable beds and pillows. Room service was excellent. Everything you need is in the room and the pool & gym are top notch also. Will definitely stay again and recommend it over many of the other hotels in Adelaide. Has a nice international feel with exquisite decor and we came away feeling very refreshed. Thank you.

Overall a great stay at the new Sofitel Adelaide. Hotel is new and comfortable but guest experience could be improved in some ways - for example, not having to enter the hotel through the car park rather than the front door. Great stay and will definitely return.

The hotel is beautiful, pool amazing, decor beautiful and staff very friendly. Our only issue was hearing music till late from nightclub 20 floors below. Not sure what can be done about that
