i had a pleasant experience at the El cid la ceiba hotel. The food was good. The staff was friendly. I would stay there again. I recomend a room above the 5th floor. You will watch the big ships wisper into port in the mornings and quietely leave their docks at night.

Enjoyed our stay. Excellent service from Andrea at front desk who was very efficient and hardworking and made sure we got an excellent room. Bellman, Ariel, was always ready to help and answer any questions and did a great job for us.

Francesco and the amazing staff at El Cid have been incredibly accommodating and have gone out of their way to make sure our stay has been one which we will treasure. The restaurant and bar staff actually became our friends and our darling maids made us smile each time we returned to our beautifully cleaned room. We can't wait to plan our next trip back to paradise at El Cid.

Good overall hotel but one downside is the view of the docking cruise ship. The hotel is right near the docking area for the daily cruise ships. Other than that the staff was friendly the rooms were clean.

Staff and food was excellent! We stayed here for the Ironman which I (and a number of others) did. It was awesome! Centrally located between T1 and T2/finish area. Right next to a "host hotel" (shuttle buses to start, etc) and easy walk to T2 and finish area. But I did not walk back after finishing....taxis are abundant coming and going! Great stay!
